Pennsylvania: How Did This Pantless Illegal Alien Get a Stack of Janelle Stelson’s Campaign Flyers?
State has a history of creepy campaigners.
A pantless, illegal alien from Nigeria, with a stack of Janelle Stelson’s campaign flyers in his car, was charged with indecent exposure in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, but Janelle Stelson swears she doesn’t know the guy. It leaves the public wondering how he got his hands on a big stack of her campaign fliers. Chimaobim Adedayo Igbojekwe, 36, is now in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody.
Democrat Stelson, who has called ICE "a disgrace," challenges incumbent Republican Rep. Scott Perry in Pennsylvania’s Tenth Congressional District.
Janelle Stelson campaign manager Alma Baker issued the following statement in response to inaccurate reporting about an individual who has no affiliation with the Stelson campaign: “This individual is not and has never been employed by the Janelle Stelson campaign. If he is an illegal immigrant who committed a crime he should be deported. We never heard of him prior to the news of his arrest. We are grateful to law enforcement for acting swiftly to arrest him.”

No Knickers
According to a criminal complaint from the East Pennsboro Township Police, on September 27, Igbojekwe spent several hours sitting in a silver 2013 Ford Escape SUV in a residential neighborhood, next to a sidewalk, with his genitals exposed because he was not wearing pants.
A woman walking her dog noticed him sitting in his messy vehicle and later told police that Igbojekwe opened the passenger side door, hawked a loogie toward the sidewalk, then appeared startled when he noticed her. Later, she called a friend who lived near the parked car. The friend said Igbojekwe had been parked there for several hours. They reported him to the police.
An officer found Igbojekwe sitting in the driver’s seat just after 3 p.m., drinking what looked like orange juice from a jug.
"When Igbojekwe opened the door, I noticed that he was wearing nothing but a shirt and that his genitals were exposed," the criminal complaint reads. It goes on:
Igbojekwe advised that he was in the neighborhood for work and he was waiting to hand out flyers for Janelle Stelson’s political campaign. Igbojekwe was able to provide a stack of flyers showing he was there for work. Igbojekwe was questioned about his genitals being exposed, and he stated that he believed that he was fine in his vehicle. Igbojekwe did not understand why it was an issue for him to have his genitals exposed while parked in a residential neighborhood.
Police say he was parked near a public park and there were children around.
The complaint lists Igbojekwe’s home address as Aurora, Colorado, with his country of origin left blank on the Pennsylvania document.
According to ICE, Igbojekwe was lawfully admitted to the United States in June 2017. When his authorized period expired in November 2019, he illegally remained in the United States. He was granted deferred action by the Biden Administration in September 2021. ICE arrested him on October 1, after the no-pants incident.
Creepy Canvassers
Whether Stelson, or a contractor for her campaign, hired Igbojekwe or not, the bottomless canvasser is a good reminder that campaigns must be careful not to hire criminals and creeps to do the "grassroots" work of canvassing neighborhoods, knocking on doors and leaving door hangers. In Pennsylvania, "hanging out" near a park with children like this is a sex crime.
As reported by Victoria Manning, a senior investigative researcher for Restoration News, there are companies that hire undocumented people to do door knocking. It's uncertain whether that happened here, but it is not the first time creeps have run the ground game in the region.
During the 2024 presidential election, in nearby Lancaster County, six neighborhood canvassers, some with criminal backgrounds, engaged in a fraudulent voter registration scheme. Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday said they were given quotas to meet for the number of voter registration requests collected. When they couldn’t find enough people to register, the workers filled out bogus registrations. But not all their registrations were bogus, meaning some people gave their personal information to people with criminal backgrounds.
But even they were able to keep their trousers on.
