Threatening Stickers Raise Fears of Violence in Arizona Political Races

Multiple Arizona Republican candidates found "Make Assassinations Great Again" stickers on their campaign signs.

Multiple Republican candidates in Arizona discovered "Make Assassinations Great Again" stickers on their campaign signage, which they fear will ratchet up the threat of political violence.

The stickers represent what Arizona Republicans say is the latest in a long history of campaign-material vandalism and leave an especially dark mark in the wake of conservative icon Charlie Kirk's assassination. In recent years, the radical Left has escalated its political strategy, with many supporters carrying out violent assaultsattempted murders, and murders in the name of "justice."

"The group of individuals circumventing 'democracy' are the ones claiming it is always under threat," Tucson City Council candidate Janet "JL" Wittenbraker (R) told Restoration News. "It just takes one unstable person to respond with political violence because they're encouraged by those kinds of behaviors."

The Tucson Police Department removed the sign and tested it for fingerprints but was unable to identify a suspect. "There's no room for this kind of political violence," Wittenbraker added.

The malevolent stickers were also found on the campaign signs of Arizona House candidate Daniel Butierez, who lost to Adelita Grijalva (D) in a special election on September 23.

"The other side keeps talking about democracy, democracy, but I don't see where they believe in it whatsoever," Butierez told Restoration News. "I mean, my signs have been destroyed. I can see the anger and violence escalating based on how they cut my signs up."

Butierez's wife and campaign manager reported thousands of dollars in sign vandalism. "This election, we've probably lost at least 60 or 70 signs. We've had thousands and thousands of dollars' worth of signs stolen," she said.

There was an additional report of a "Make Assassinations Great Again" sticker on the back of a vehicle, but police do not have any suspects at this time.

Escalating Political Violence

In recent years, America's Marxists have elevated political violence to a regular strategy. The "progressive" coalition has drifted further from traditional Democratic values, resulting in radicalized individuals seeking their own form of vigilante social justice.

Much of this unrest stems from a deep-seated animosity toward America and a hatred for the rule of law. The recent acts of political violence not only underscore the Left's hostility toward the nation but also highlight their determination to achieve their goals by any means necessary.

The "Make Assassinations Great Again" stickers may very well be a juvenile joke or misguided troll, but the message they convey fans an already raging fire of political unrest. In just one year, political violence has reached staggering highs, and it is unlikely that this trend will change in the near future.

In July 2024, President Donald Trump barely escaped an assassin's bullet during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire from a nearby rooftop, wounding Trump in the ear and killing one attendee.

Just two months later, Ryan Wesley Routh attempted to assassinate Trump while he was golfing in West Palm Beach, Florida. Routh was apprehended and later found guilty. He attempted to stab himself in the courtroom after the recent verdict.

In December 2024, Luigi Mangione assassinated United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Bullet casings found at the scene bore the inscriptions "delay," "deny," and "depose"—and many on the Left celebrated him as a hero.

This year, conservative activist and Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10, 2025, while speaking at a public event at Utah Valley University. The accused assassin, Tyler James Robinson, is a 22-year-old trade school student from Utah who was living with and dating a male with gender dysphoria. Like Mangione, Robinson inscribed messages on his bullet casings.

Two weeks after Kirk's murder, 29-year-old Joshua Jahn opened fire from a rooftop near a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) field office in Dallas, Texas. Jahn missed the ICE officers, his intended targets, instead killing one detainee before turning the gun on himself.

Jahn's shell casings were marked "anti-ICE," and a note found in his car allegedly revealed that he hoped the shooting would strike fear into the hearts of ICE officers across the country.

Political Violence Stops Here

The Left is at war with the very fabric of America. The recent escalations in political violence only highlight how far they are willing to go to achieve their goals.

Americans must stand together against this insanity before the murders continue to leave blood in our streets.
