The Top 10 Executive Orders Trump Should Sign on Inauguration Day
The 47th President has a lot to do to roll back wokeism, defeat the Deep State, and make America great again.
With the return of the once and future President, the nation will begin to heal from four years of radical Left rule. Now’s the time to draw upon Donald Trump’s deep mandate from the people and scour woke policies from every part of the federal government. Here are ten good places to start.
1. Freeze Biden’s Outgoing Regulations
On Biden’s first day in office in 2021, he issued an immediate regulatory freeze that paused the first Trump administration’s final regulations so Biden staffers could “review”—and cancel—each of them.
You know what they say: Turnabout is fair play.
Biden’s recent orders should all be scrutinized and appropriately scotched, including his recent order to ban offshore gas and oil drilling across 625 million acres of ocean stretching from the Florida coast to Alaska’s Bering Strait—a clear effort to gum up the works for Team Trump.
Biden also ordered the ATF, the federal government’s go-to agency for harassing lawful gun owners, to pursue so-called “ghost guns,” demonizing and putting at risk Americans exercising their Second Amendment rights under an increasingly authoritarian federal government. The Supreme Court’s rulings since 2008 have been crystal clear: Keep your hands off citizens’ firearms. Time to follow through.
Another last-minute regulation faces a lawsuit by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and 22 other state attorneys general for creating an unlawful methane tax just 4 days before Trump’s inauguration—further hiking electricity costs for a nation that can’t afford Democrats’ anti-energy policies.
2. Restore “Remain in Mexico” and End Temporary Parole Programs
Biden’s decision to cancel Trump’s highly successful Remain in Mexico policy is the reason so many millions of illegal aliens crossed the border and lived here for years, consequence-free—often with public assistance. That’s more than 8 million people waiting for an immigration court hearing that won’t come for a decade, if ever, creating a permanent underclass of non-citizens bringing crime, drugs, poverty, and election threats to every state in the union.
Trump should also include abolishing Biden’s secret express lane from importing hundreds of thousands of Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans—many of whom went on to rape and murder young girls in unprotected communities.
By reversing this disaster, Trump can stem the invasion and discourage future migrant caravans with a clear message to the world: Breaking American immigration law doesn’t pay, so don’t try it.

3. Cut Federal Funding to Schools Teaching Critical Race Theory (CRT)
Trump vowed to do it on the campaign trail.
While the larger goal—dissolving the Education Department and breaking up the Left’s monopoly on public education—is a project requiring the Republican-led Congress, the President has control over how that department allocates funds.
The heart of darkness: The civil rights office within the Education Department, which enforces federal discrimination laws in schools. In the past, it’s been used by Democrats to harass a Georgia school district that banned sexually explicit LGBT books, demand teachers cease misgendering “non-binary” students, accuse a North Carolina district of subjecting black students to extra harsh discipline, and so on. In other words, it’s the vehicle for advancing a DEI agenda in schools from coast to coast using the threat of federal lawsuits—and Trump can transform it immediately.
A winning strategy: Take the pressure off schools and parents, then turn the office of civil rights into a vehicle for advancing anti-woke standards in our schools.
4. Boot Transgender Soldiers from Our Military
The last thing men in combat need is a soldier suffering from the effects of gender-swapping hormone therapy.
Trump’s already floated the idea of discharging some 15,000 transgender servicemen from the Armed Forces on medical grounds. Overturning Trump’s ban on recruiting trans soldiers was one of Biden’s first actions in Jan. 2021 on the dubious grounds that “an inclusive military strengthens our national security” yet would somehow “only have a minimal impact on military readiness and healthcare cost.”
In reality, sex-change operations cost some $130,000 per individual—payments that continue to add up in additional post-surgery costs passed on to the Veterans Affairs Department for the mentally ill. The result is as much as $8 million annually in unnecessary—and immoral—expenditures.
Reports have revealed what DEI advocates won’t: Biden’s policies have encouraged the Pentagon to give soldiers’ kids transgender hormones without their parents’ knowledge. DEI officials have hidden from Congress documents promoting queer and racist ideology taught in Pentagon-run schools. Biden himself promoted mentally disturbed soldiers on the basis of their fealty to radical sex ideology, including officers who lied to Congress that the U.S. military doesn’t sponsor drag queen shows.
The bottom line: Promoting depravity and DEI commissars makes us less likely to win the next war, not more, and it must stop under Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump.
5. Axe All Equity and Inclusion Mandates from Federal Agencies
While he’s at it, end Biden’s all-of-government approach to pitting black vs. white, male vs. female, rich vs. poor in the name of “equity.” Social justice is injustice. “Diversity” is groupthink. “Equity” is unfair, inclusion exclusive.
Undoing that order is a good start. But there's a bigger lesson here. Our government should not be a weapon for dividing—it should serve the people. Marxism is merely organized theft or orchestrated revenge for past grievances; it can never achieve forgiveness, reconciliation, or love—only the cross can.
6. Let the Gas & Oil Flow—and Reap the Cheap Energy Dividend
Trump already has a term for this: “Energy dominance.”
Besides cancelling Biden’s offshore drilling ban, the President should end the Biden Energy Department’s freeze on new projects for exporting liquefied natural gas (LNG) overseas. Since LNG exports began in 2016, 63% of it has flowed to Europe with powerful defense implications for America.
Before the 2021 Ukraine invasion under Biden, Europeans imported 40% of their natural gas—used to heat homes and power national economies—from hostile Russia. Some imported 80%. That reliance hamstrings NATO commitments, but presents an opportunity to hook them on U.S. imports—with all the diplomatic leverage that entails.
At home, we need the opposite of the Green New Deal. We need a stable, enduring commitment from Washington to abandon its foolish crusade for “unreliables” and pursue energy dominance instead.
7. Close the Spigot on Taxpayer Payoffs to Abortion Activists
Congress’ ban on using public funds for overseas abortions is 11 years older than Vice President J.D. Vance. The ban on domestic abortion funding went into law 4 months before Jimmy Carter was sworn into office. It’s older than the Apple II, yellow Lego men, Van Halen, Ben & Jerry’s, and Star Wars.
Using your tax dollars to murder the unborn has been illegal for a long, long time. Yet Joe Biden funneled at least $1.2 billion to abortion groups, much of which helped loosen abortion laws and encourage abortion in destitute countries.
For the better part of a century, America has had the ugly distinction of being the world’s largest funder of death and sterilization through our tax-exempt charities and foreign aid commitments. Yet almost no Americans—or Christians—are aware of this terrible injustice we’ve been coopted into by death-loving “progressives.”
In his first term, President Trump proved himself the best friend of pro-life Evangelicals and Catholics—and a man of his word. Let him show his love of life, and the God Who gives it, by immediately ceasing national participation in this grievous sin.
8. End Biden’s “Environmental Justice” Commitment in All Agencies
The $1.2 trillion Inflation Reduction Act may go down as the biggest kickback to left-wing activists, consultants, and other D.C. parasites in American history. Climate zealots scammed the people out of billions of dollars to fund useless—or worse, destructive—“green” pet projects that do nothing for the environment but sure bring the bacon home to Democrat interest groups.
One of Biden’s first acts in office was committing every federal agency to implementing “climate justice” into its planning, a Marxist term that allows Democrats to connect two of their favorite ideas: Minorities marginalized by white supremacist, bigoted, Jim Crow America, and apocalyptic predictions about the weather in, oh, say, 10-ish or so years. Give or take. In the fullness of time.
As a movement, global warming was an utter failure in changing the earth’s climate one iota (and thank God for it). But it was masterful in redistributing trillions of dollars from low- and middle-income families to fabulously wealthy “progressive” elites and their minions in the press and sciences; as well as from Western economies to Communist China.
President Trump, want to really prove you’re the hero of the working man? Force the government to stop calling him a racist—and making him pay for the privilege of enduring it (for the weather, or climate, or something).
9. Exit the Paris Climate Treaty
OK, this is a cop-out. What he should actually do is send it to the Senate as a foreign treaty to let it permanently die like the League of Nations, Iran Nuclear Agreement, Kyoto Protocol, and the International Criminal Court.
Don’t take it from me; let my colleague, Kevin Mooney, fill you in.
10. Deport. Them. All.
Don’t settle for just getting rid of the violent criminals, like the monster who murdered Laken Riley on Biden’s watch.
If America is to restore her honor and independence, we must put America first in every national policy. That means an immigration policy that does what’s right for U.S. citizens, not foreigners.
That’s a larger project requiring Congress. What President Trump can do is mandate the use of E-Verify for every employer in all 50 states—yes, he can do that—get the process of self-deportation in full swing.
The smartest way to do that is to deprive illegal aliens of jobs. Some 75% of the illegal migrant population is in the labor force; without work, most will leave. Without the lure of work, few will risk the arduous journey to get here.
The only way this works is if conservatives internalize that this is primarily a cultural objective, not an economic one. It’s less about freeing up jobs for American citizens—whatever their origin—than about restoring a common language and respect for the rule of law. The United States is not a special economic zone for anyone to pass through. It’s a nation like all others with a right to chart its own people’s path through history, guarding against foreign invasion and globalists’ desire to make us a multicultural hellhole alike.
Americans are open to mass deportation like never before, but that window won’t last. Nor will the America First coalition if our leaders don’t act swiftly and with great determination. Read more here.
It’s a bold plan… but then again, President Donald Trump is a bold man.
Happy Inauguration Day.
