America is Not Racist: How the Southern Poverty Law Center Con Infiltrated Every Power Pillar in the U.S.
We can finally stop pretending cries of 'racism' are anything more than failed leftist political talking points.
When the Department of Justice (DOJ) indicted the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) last week on 11 counts of wire fraud, false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering, it revealed how urgently the Left has perpetuated the myth of American racism to stoke public unrest and steer politics. But the indictment doesn't tell the entire story of how—under the guise of fighting racism—SPLC infiltrated the highest levels of government.
Imagine a fire department that sets lots of fires, then asks for donations to fight this "big fire problem." That's how Steve Cortes, founder of the League of American Workers and former advisor to Donald Trump, described the disgraced SPLC's actions in a call with Restoration News.

Although the $339 million, tax-exempt nonprofit has gotten rich and powerful claiming otherwise, the United States is not inherently racist.
"The demand for racism from the Left far exceeds the actual supply," Cortes told Restoration News. "So, what does the Left do in lieu of actual racism? It concocts it. It devises, and engineers, and gins up, and in some cases just completely lies about purported racism in American society."
SPLC took donor funds collected to fight for "racial justice" and "dismantle white supremacy," and gave huge payments to the very extremist groups it said it was fighting, the DOJ indictment alleges.
Extremist Partners Move Politics
After the DOJ followed a trail of documents and bank records, it concluded that "between 2014 and 2023, the SPLC secretly funneled more than $3 million in donated funds to individuals who were associated with various violent extremist groups including: Ku Klux Klan, United Klans of America, Unite the Right, National Alliance, National Socialist Movement, Aryan Nations affiliated Sadistic Souls Motorcycle Club, National Socialist Party of America (American Nazi Party), and American Front," according to a DOJ statement.
The deadly 2017 "Unite the Right" event in Charlottesville, Virginia was stoked by SPLC, the indictment shows. The rally is remembered for the images of men marching with flaming tiki lamps, and for killer James Alex Fields Jr. accelerating his car into a crowd of people, murdering Heather Heyer and injuring 30 other protesters. Fields got life in prison after pleading guilty.
But he might never have been there if the SPLC hadn't allegedly coordinated the event. According to the DOJ, an unnamed person referred to as "F-37" in the indictment "was a member of the online leadership chat group that planned the 2017 'Unite the Right' event in Charlottesville, Virginia and attended the event at the direction of the SPLC. F-37 made racist postings under the supervision of the SPLC and helped coordinate transportation to the event for several attendees. Between 2015 and 2023, the SPLC secretly paid F-37 more than $270,000."
The propaganda press was quick to twist President Donald Trump's words related to that event, claiming he described racists as "very fine people."
The press used deceptive editing, making it look like Trump praised Neo Nazis, and it suppressed online posts of people like Cortes who portrayed the facts accurately. Cortes debunked the "very fine people" claim in a viral PragerU video.
The Charlottesville Hoax emanated from a concocted event that was staged by the Left!

Financed by “anti racists” to manufacture a myth about Trump & his supporters.

"The corporate media, with a lot of assistance from Big Tech, was able to spread that lie far and wide, and was able to filter out and censor alternative voices who were trying to spread the truth, and for most Americans, at least for a period of time, that grand lie worked," Cortes told Restoration News. "So you have this awful sequence of SPLC illegally using donor money to manufacture and create a hate event. That hate event produces some mayhem, and some really tragic consequences—particularly a young woman's death—which then sends the media into an anti-Trump frenzy."
SPLC and Politics
The SPLC is much more than the publisher behind an online hate map. It is a socialist machine hellbent on manipulating American politics by pushing narratives that sow hatred. Racism becomes a tool politicians can use to move agendas.
As the story goes, Joe "Autopen" Biden got into the 2020 presidential race because of the "very fine people" hoax. Later, Biden would use the Jan. 6, 2021,protest , as an excuse to round up and jail Americans who questioned the 2020 election results.

As I previously reported for the Epoch Times, the Biden years were good to SPLC, and its staff frequently visited the White House. For a time, the White House Visitors Logs were available online—now just a fraction of them can be found in the deep web.
The SPLC's report, "The Year in Hate and Extremism 2022," called Moms for Liberty a hate group, causing the Left to organize protests and try to shut down the Moms for Liberty national gathering in Philadelphia as the group hosted the first event of that season's presidential race featuring speeches from most Republican candidates including Trump. Susan Corke, an author of that report had ties to the Biden administration.
"On Jan. 6, 2023, Susan Corke, director of SPLC's Intelligence Project, who oversaw the June 6 report, met at the White House with John Picarelli, director of counterterrorism at the National Security Council," I wrote at the time. "Previously she worked for the U.S. Department of State and held positions in U.S. embassies in Moscow and Prague."

That same report plainly admits that SPLC opposes the Republican Party and helped push the Jan. 6 "insurrection" narrative.
"Our analysts helped policymakers, including the bipartisan House Jan. 6 Special Committee investigation, hold hate perpetrators accountable," wrote Corke, putting SPLC fingerprints all over the leftist agenda.
Around the same time, Biden's FBI and DHS shifted its focus from the threat of international terrorism to Domestic Violence Extremism (DVE) and Racially and Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremism (RMVE).
"We assess that RMVEs who are driven by a belief in the superiority of the white race continue to pose the primary threat among DVEs of committing lethal violence against civilians, based on their ideology and attack history," a 2022 report by Biden's FBI and DHS reads. "These RMVEs advocate and commit violence in support of a transnational movement whose adherents believe that white people of Europea n descent are superior to and threatened by minority populations, as well as by other whites whom they perceive as supporting these populations. Some of these RMVEs promote accelerationist thinking, which advocates committing violence to precipitate a large-scale conflict. often framed as a ·race war," in the United States and other Western democracies that these RMVEs believe will result in a white ethnostate."
Wonder where they got that idea? Probably from the many discussions with SPLC staffers at the White House, or from SPLC's reports, which we now know were manufactured.
SPLC web content so often served as rationale for Biden administration policy that in 2023, Republican Senators James Lankford (OK) and Chuck Grassley (IA) sent a letter to the FBI demanding it stop using SPLC as a source in its investigative reports and activities due to its "clear bias."
"The FBI should not lend credibility to an organization that labels traditional values as 'hate,'" they wrote, noting the FBI removed the SPLC from its hate crime webpage in 2014, when Barack Obama was president.
SPLC in Court
The SPLC has influence on the bench. Biden nominated former SPLC strategic litigation director Nancy Abudu to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit covering Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. The press release announcing Abudu's lifetime confirmation fails to mention her SPLC connection. While at SPLC, Abudu founded the SPLC's Voting Rights Practice Group which says it is "organizing to build the political power of Black and Brown people throughout the Deep South."
SPLC is extremely interested in election issues. It has been involved in redistricting cases and its website says SPLC is focused on "voting rights, children's rights, economic justice, immigrant justice, LGBTQ rights, and mass incarceration."
SPLC in Education
SPLC permeates every level of education as it tries to convince young people the U.S. is terribly racist.
The SPLC Learning for Justice program offers schools K-12 curriculum with lesson plans like "How did slavery shape my state?" for fourth grade students, and in high school, "Did the constitution establish a just government?"
And the SPLC works with many universities, such as the Polarization & Extremism Research & Innovation Lab (PERIL) at American University's School of Public Affairs. PERIL is supposed to prevent "radicalization to violent extremism by strengthening community resilience," using a public health approach. PERIL and SPLC have collaborated on numerous reports about "dismantling white supremacy."
Now the SPLC is attaching to college newspapers with the Student Press Report launched in February 2026. “As statehouse coverage shrinks, student journalists are stepping in to fill the void," SPLC's partner, collegejournalism.org wrote. "Across 30 states, college reporters are covering statehouse journalism gaps—and the experience is changing their lives."
The hate experts teaching students journalism. What could go wrong?

Bogus Racism Claims Don’t Work Anymore
Today there may be more people making money off the racism narrative than actual racists.
Slavery and Jim Crow are long dead. America is post-racist and increasingly post-woke. Democrats, who have depended on—and almost romanticized—racism as political currency don’t know how to live in this world.
It is time for race baiting profiteers to find another line of work.
