Criminal Illegal Alien Who Drugged and Raped Children in Tennessee Gets 30 Year Sentence

A 68-year-old illegal alien from Mexico has received a 30 year prison sentence after a federal investigation revealed he sexually exploited children.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, in a joint probe with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), discovered Camilo Campos-Hurtado drugged and raped children while working as a soccer coach in and around Nashville, Tennessee.
While the offenses that led to Campos-Hurtado’s convictions occurred between 2017 and 2021, forensic analysis of his electronic devices demonstrate he had produced child sexual abuse material since at least January 2013. Federal and state investigations began in June 2023 after a community member discovered “explicit videos on a cellphone Campos-Hurtado left at local business,” according to an ICE press release.

- The weight of evidence compelled Campos-Hurtado to plead guilty in June 2025 to range of charges that included sexual exploitation of a minor along with the use and possession of fraudulent immigration documents.

- After completing his federal sentence and any remaining state sentence, Campos-Hurtado will be deported back to Mexico.
