Will Kamala Harris Acknowledge Arizona’s Illegal Alien Crimes at the Border? Cochise Sheriff Mark Dannels Isn't Counting On It.

Arizona and Cochise County are overrun with illegal aliens, bringing crime and poverty and overwhelming local communities. That’s Kamala’s legacy… but don’t expect her to admit it.

In her latest shameless flip-flop, Kamala Harris is expected to visit the U.S.-Mexico border today in Cochise County, Arizona in an effort to look tough on the immigration nightmare she created. In normal times, locals could count on the presidential hopeful to acknowledge her role in opening the border to the 12 million-plus illegal aliens who’ve devastated communities like Douglas (pop. 15,000). But these aren’t normal times—and radical Democrats like Harris aren’t normal politicians.

The truth is that under “border czar” Harris, Cochise County has become a target for illegal border crossings, drug smugglers, and human traffickers, many of whom have a history of violent crime. Restoration News has reported on pedophiles, carjackers, and murderers arrested in Cochise County since Harris took office at IllegalAlienCrimes.com, as well as hundreds more horrific crimes across Arizona ranging from rape to kidnapping to sexual assault against children. 

Don't expect Harris to even acknowledge these atrocities, let her role in enabling them.

"Her visit comes with mixed emotions for the people of Cochise County," Sheriff Mark Dannels told Restoration News. "There's a lot of frustration and stress over the tragedies we've seen. Over the past three-and-a-half years we've reached out to her and President Biden to visit the border, to make them part of the solution to the immigration problems across the Southwest. Now Harris is visiting the border only because it's Election Season.

"If she wins in November, my hope is that she doesn't forget her visit here and will actually make a change for the better in the future," he added. "That's debatable, but you've got to start somewhere. If Harris doesn't accept the border problems, or acknowledge or prioritize fixing them, we're going to be in serious trouble."

Recall that Joe Biden put Harris in charge of the border shortly after taking office in early 2021. Instead of tackling crime and finishing President Trump’s border wall, she implemented a catch-and-release policy that turns Border Patrol agents into virtual flight attendants helping illegal aliens into the country.

As border czar, she failed to visit the southern border even a single time even as it became clear women and families have been victimized by these thugs—that is, until a liberal interviewer called her on it. “You haven’t been to the border,” Lester Holt said. “And I haven’t been to Europe—I don’t understand the point you’re making,” she shot back.

She hasn’t been back to the border since.

Since then, Cochise County has been inundated with criminals on a near-daily basis. Sheriff Dannels points out that these illegal alien "gotaways are 100 percent controlled by cartels, who use them for smuggling drugs across the border for the past three-and-a-half years."

"A lot of them are single, adult males, not children or females," he pointed out, "and they do everything they can to get away from law enforcement, including assaulting us. And they're doing it recklessly, sometimes in high-speed chases with no regard for human life. They're coming here with ill-intent. 

"This is one of the highest risks America is facing. We're frustrated. Enough is enough," he warned.

At the September presidential debate, Harris lied that her failed Senate border bill from earlier this year would have ended the border crisis she manufactured. In reality, it would have codified the open border by legalizing 2 million border crossings each year—twice the number of Green Cards authorized annually.

Not that it matters to Harris, who’s flip flopped on every issue on the campaign trail. Harris—once the most liberal member of the U.S. Senate—now pretends to oppose every policy she put in place with Joe Biden. Her campaign motto is “We can’t go back,” yet she won’t take responsibility for the past 4 years.  

Arizonans aren’t buying it… and they can’t afford to.
