Why is Pennsylvania Hiding Illegal Alien Crimes?

Kamala Harris’ sanctuary city and open border policies send murderers and terrorists to Pennsylvania… but won’t send the facts to investigators.

Restoration News has been compiling crimes committed by illegal aliens across the nation and documenting them at IllegalAlienCrimes.com. Most states have been cooperative with providing information through open records requests but not Pennsylvania. The commonwealth refuses to provide the data we have requested.

What are they hiding?

To date, we have issued open records requests to 10 sheriffs in counties throughout Pennsylvania asking for arrest records of anyone held on an immigration detainer or who was determined to be an illegal alien. Our requests were either denied or the response was “no data found.” Montgomery County responded that our request did not fall under the Right to Know Law and that criminal history and arrest information is not public information. We appealed this decision to the state’s office of open records—who also denied our request.

In contrast, we’ve traced thousands of illegal alien crimes in neighboring states like New York, Ohio, Virginia, Maryland, and New Jersey—as well as 51,000 crimes nationwide. Either foreign murderers, child rapists, and sex traffickers are avoiding Philadelphia… or Pennsylvania Democrats are hiding the truth from residents.

While many counties refuse to provide information on illegal alien criminals in Pennsylvania, some sheriffs publish detailed information about criminals on their website for the public to view. Dauphin County even has a Facebook page that publishes arrest information and mugshots. Dauphin County further indicates on their website whether an inmate is being held for immigration reasons.

Sanctuary cities and counties across Pennsylvania put citizens at risk. In Feb. 2024, the Democrat-run Lancaster City Council passed a so-called “Trust Act” which prevents city employees—including the police—from questioning an individual’s immigration status. The act also prohibits any city employee from cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

After the Democrats’ actions in  Lancaster, Republican Lancaster County Commissioners responded by passing a resolution declaring the county a “non-sanctuary” county on illegal immigration.

Both Montgomery County and Allegheny County have strict policies prohibiting cooperation with ICE, stating they will not hold an inmate for the 48 hour period noted on the ICE detainer request form.

Dauphin County has documented dozens of arrests of illegal alien criminals yet we are unable to publish any information on surrounding counties due to the lack of transparency by both state and local governments.

Restoration News has uncovered over 1,600 illegal alien crimes in nearby Virginia but have only uncovered 56 in Pennsylvania thanks to sanctuary cities covering for these criminals. Here are a few of the illegal alien crimes we have documented in Pennsylvania thanks to the transparency of Dauphin County and ICE notifications.

  • On Nov. 4, 2023, Francisco Hernandez Hernandez was arrested for the shooting and murder of another man. News reports fail to mention his immigration status but Dauphin County documents that he is from Mexico and has an immigration charge.
  • On Jan 19, 2023, Bader Alzahrani was arrested in Monroe County after he stole a school bus. Police found a backpack belonging to him with a journal that seemed to indicate he planned to wage a war and said “f*ck each and every Jewish person” and "Why didn’t you slaughter the police officer who threw the Quran?" The federal indictment indicates he was on a student visa from Saudi Arabia but stopped attending college in Oct. 2022.
  • On June 26, 2024, Enrique Lopez Gomez was charged with third-degree murder for killing a 21-month-old toddler in Chester County. The child had been beaten to death—blunt force trauma to the stomach and ruptured intestines. Gomez is from Guatemala and was placed on an ICE detainer.

These are just a few examples of the monsters lurking all over Pennsylvania that Kamala Harris welcomes into the country with her open borders policies. Citizens of the Keystone state should start asking their local sheriffs how many illegal alien criminals have been released back onto the streets of their neighborhoods.
