White Privilege in Action: Leftist Students Start Autonomous Zone At University of Michigan, Spread “Death to America” Pamphlets

The far Left is loud and proud, and you should be very afraid.

Rich, white, left-wing children of academia have started showing their true colors on campuses all across America in recent weeks, including the University of Michigan.

It’s not like colleges have ever been known as bastions of conservative thought, especially over the past sixty years. But the reaction to the Hamas terrorist attacks of Oct. 7, which killed over 1,200 unarmed Israelis, has led to a frightening anti-Semitic backlash. Privileged students who consider themselves progressive, but present as radicalized, have begun occupying buildings and setting up tent cities on campuses across the United States to protest “Zionism” and advocate for the “liberation of Palestine.” They have now emerged at the University of Michigan.

Michigan Gets Occupied

Dusting off their “Occupy” and “CHAZ” playbooks, radicalized students at the University of Michigan have set up the “Liberated Encampment Zone.” This consists of a tent city on campus, anarchist propaganda, and calls for “The Third Intifada” and the defeat of the “liberal-fascist associates” of Zionists.

It also means Death to America. They say so at the end of one anarchist pamphlet: “Freedom for Palestine means Death to America.”

One wonders why tent cities always accompany these occupations. Why can’t they just go back to their dorm rooms at night, and pick the protest up in the morning?

The anti-Semitic protest and occupation at Michigan has received outside support from anarchist groups. Radicals distributed copies of an entire booklet on how to “stay safe and stay dangerous” while deploying the anarchist “black bloc” tactics in protests.

Anarchist black bloc groups rose to prominence in the “Summer of Love” protests across the nation in 2020, in response to the death of George Floyd and the uprising of Black Lives Matter (BLM). Antifa groups took advantage of the racial unrest to riot in cities across the nation, and encouraged a sort of anarchist uniform of black attire, facial masks to obscure individual identity, and in some cases protect against crowd control measures like tear gas. This tactic also featured prominently in the Occupy Wall Street and associated protests, By Any Means Necessary protests to shut down conservative speakers on college campuses, and even back to the World Trade Organization (WTO) protests in Seattle in the late 1990s.

Progressive Family Values

Many of these protests shared another feature: privileged, progressive, young white people.

Waves of privileged young white radicals have now turned America’s colleges into no-go zones for Jews.

Naturally, this has sparked disapproval among those who don’t hate Jews.

At least one of these radical protesters—this one at Yale—comes from privilege, in fact the Ivory Tower of Academia:

Thomas Kinservik, one of the students chanting “Viva Viva Palestina,” donated to Elizabeth Warren’s campaign via ActBlue. His father Matthew, a vice provost at the University of Delaware, gave to the Biden campaign.

It’s not just the Ivy League anymore, it seems to be everywhere.

One brave student at the University of Michigan has chosen to document the insanity. The occupation has taken on a life of its own, much like Occupy Wall Street or the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ) during the riots in Seattle in 2020. He posted the “onboarding” documents handed out for anyone wishing to participate in the occupation:

Intersecting Anti-Semitism With Critical Theory

The pamphlets handed out at the University of Michigan contain language giving away clues to their ultimate goals. As Robby Starbuck noted on Twitter:

Notice the cover of the pamphlet, which reads, “’Operation Al Aqsa Flood’ Was an Act of Decolonization.”

The al Aqsa flood, of course, was the massive Hamas terrorist attack on Israel carried out on October 7, 2023. Terrorists killed over 1,200 Israelis, along with other foreign nationals in the area, or worse—many brutalized in the most barbaric ways.

The anarchist / Marxist / anti-West / critical theory blob now ties that horrific event to “anti-colonialism,” a catch-all phrase used to radicalize Western protestors against their own nations. American mothers and fathers who sent their kids off to college probably had little idea their adult children would get radicalized by such subversive movements.

Those subversive movements have spread to a frightening degree and threaten to destabilize our society. America needs to exert the political and social will to put down the insurrection for the sake of social cohesion and the rule of law.
