WAR ON WOMEN: These Swing State Dems Voted Against Protecting Girls’ Sports from Predatory Males

The Republican Party is the only thing standing between young women and sexual predators protected by the Democratic Party.

All but two House Democrats voted to preserve biological males in girls’ sports on Tuesday in a brazen attack on Title IX protections for women. Many of these House Democrats comes from states Donald Trump and other Republicans won in November 2024; many more pretend to be as moderate and pro-woman as their constituents—on the campaign trail, anyway.

206 House Democrats voted against that bill—the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2025 (H.R. 28)—which passed with every Republican voting “aye.” If it passes the Republican-controlled Senate and receives President Trump’s signature, it’ll bar biological males from participating in “athletic program or activity that is designated for women or girls” and recognize that “sex [is] based solely on a person’s reproductive biology and genetics at birth,” not gender identity.

Poll after poll has found that a massive majority—69%, according to Gallup—of Americans oppose “transgender” males participating in girls sports, up from 62% in 2021. Fully 55% believe that “changing one’s gender” is “morally wrong,” up from 51% four years ago.

Yet under Joe Biden, the radical Left ramped up its assault on Title IX protections—signed into law by President Nixon in 1972 to safeguard female students and athletes—by erasing biological sex in favor of the pseudoscientific phrase “gender identity.” Things would’ve only worsened under Kamala Harris—so parents rebelled by kicking the Democrats out of power.

We’ve gathered the names of key House Democrats who failed to learn the lesson that fealty to ultrawealthy, out-of-touch activists will cost them their seat in the 2026 midterm elections.

Bad Company

Arizona Rep. Greg Stanton (AZ-4) voted against the bill then tweeted that trans girls “[deserve] every opportunity to pursue [their] passions without fear. #TransDayofVisibility.” Stanton won reelection in 2024 by just 24,000 votes.

All 5 of Georgia’s Democrat congressmen opposed the bill. Rep. Sanford Bishop (GA-02) has bragged about pushing gender identity in federal anti-discrimination laws through the 2021 EQUALITY Act, which would’ve opened employers to ideologically motivated lawsuits by LGBT groups over their religious beliefs.

Georgia Reps. Nikema Williams (GA-05) and Hank Williams (GA-04) both opposed the bill; both also co-sponsored a 2023 resolution demanding a Transgender Bill of Rights “that guarantees certain rights for transgender and nonbinary people with respect to public services and accommodations, employment, housing, health care,” etc.

All 6 Michigan Democrats voted against the bill. Rep. Hillary Scholten (MI-03), who won reelection by just 43,000 votes, called it “a reactionary bill that endangers children.” In her own reelection campaign in October, Rep. Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08)—reelected by just 28,000 votes—denied there are “actual” stories of Michigan girls who’ve lost their sports team spot or scholarship to biological males, repeating a talking point pulled from the far-left ACLU.

Here's an “actual” example: A bearded, 6-foot tall “trans” male basketball player who hurled away a female player at a Massachusetts basketball game in Feb. 2023, leaving her and two other girls injured.

In fact, a recent UN study found that male “trans” athletes won nearly 900 medals over their female competitors across 29 different sports. “To avoid the loss of a fair opportunity, males must not compete in the female categories of sport” the study’s authors concluded.

All 3 of Nevada’s House Democrats similarly opposed the bill, with Rep. Dina Titus (NV-01) incredibly twisting it as “government overreach at its finest.” Titus, who only won reelection by 24,000 votes, apparently didn’t think “expanding the scope of Title IX to include protections based on sexual orientation and gender identity” was government overreach—tweeting in April 2024 that “LGBTQ+ Americans are facing discrimination from extreme state and federal legislators and we must take decisive action to secure their civil rights.”

Both of New Hampshire’s Democrats, Reps. Chris Pappas (NH-01) and Maggie Goodlander (NH-02), voted “nay.” In fact, Goodlander recently doubled down on supporting sex change surgeries for children, playing it up as a local issue “that really resides with doctors and families and patients.” Yet New Hampshire outlawed biological males from competing in girls’ sports in July.

In Pennsylvania, every Democrat voted “nay,” including Chris Deluzio (PA-17), who won reelection by just 35,000 votes. Deluzio was endorsed by the trans advocacy group Human Rights Campaign for his last election as a “pro-equality [champion] who will represent the best interested of LGBTQ+ Pennsylvanians and vote for the federal non-discrimination protections in the Equality Act,” the bill that would’ve unleashed the Justice Department on private Christian employers. If that weren’t enough, Deluzio also co-sponsored a resolution commemorating a “Transgender Day of Remembrance” two weeks after the 2024 election.

And all 6 Virginia Democrats lined up to vote against the bill, including recently elected Rep. Eugene Vindman, who spun it as a parents’ rights issue: “These decisions should be left to parents, coaches, teachers, and families – not D.C. politicians.” The Ukrainian-born Vindman eked out a narrow 10,000-vote victory in the commonwealth’s most hotly contested race. He’s also the brother of the infamous retired Army Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who played a key role in Democrats’ first impeachment over Trump’s 2019 call with Ukrainian president Zelenskyy and has been accused of lying under oath.

Similarly, Rep. Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10) won his seat by fewer than 19,000 votes after voting against granting parents access to their children’s medical records in the state General Assembly. That bill, the Fundamental Right of Parents Bill (HB 1507), followed multiple cases of young students falling prey to gender-transitioning manipulation by school officials who hid it from their parents.

That includes 14-year-old Sage Blair, a deeply troubled Appomattox County High School student suffering from mental health issues. Blair secretly transitioned to male and was encouraged to use the boys’ bathroom by school officials, until eventually she was kidnapped, raped, and trafficked across state lines—information that was hidden from her mother, Michelle, who sued the school in Sept. 2023.

In Congress, there's no such thing as a moderate Democrat in today's Democratic Party.
