Venezuela’s Violent Tren de Aragua Street Gang Has Spread to Wisconsin
Kamala Harris’ extremist open border policies welcome violent criminal organizations into America.
Tren de Aragua (“train from Aragua”) is a violent Venezuelan gang that’s invading towns and cities across America. Kamala Harris was put in charge of the invasion at the border and she has only made the problem worse, welcoming these monsters into the nation to harm Americans.
Tren de Aragua was formed in a notorious prison in Venezuela operated by crime bosses. The leader of the gang is cop killer Héctor Guerrero Flores, who escaped from prison and whose whereabouts are unknown. The gang’s influence grew outside prison and eventually throughout Venezuela, overtaking the territory of other gangs. In 2018, Tren de Aragua became transnational as it expanded into Colombia, Peru, and Chile. They are known for their brutality, threatening to murder anyone who they deem “snitches”—posting graphic videos of torturing their victims before they are executed. Human trafficking, extortion, sex slavery, and contract killings fill their resume.
Now the violent gang is in America, staking it’s claim in small and large cities across the nation. They have taken over apartment buildings in Aurora, Colorado and are linked to more than 62 robberies in New York. Suspected gang members were arrested for a brutal assault of two New York police officers. In March 2024, Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Adelvis Rodriguez-Carmona in Chicago—a confirmed Tren de Aragua gang member. In El Paso Texas the gang overtook a hotel and the county just filed a lawsuit against the owner to shut it down. The owner has permitted drug use, violence, and sexual activity in front of children. Police have been called to the hotel 700 times in 2 years and now Tren de Aragua is taking it over.
Now these violent gang members are showing up in Wisconsin.
The Prairie du Chien police department in Crawford County arrested Alejandro Jose Coronel Zarate on Sept. 5. Zarate, a suspected member of Tren de Aragua, was arrested for sexual assault, strangulation, child abuse, and worse. Police connected Zarate to the gang based on conversations with federal law enforcement and his tattoos. He entered the country illegally in Sept. 2023 and was arrested in Minneapolis in Nov. 2023. He was also arrested in Dane County for strangulation and battery.
Yet thanks to Democrat sanctuary city policies, Zarate continued to be released onto the streets to harm more victims.

Refugees Flooding Wisconsin
Not only are aliens crossing the border illegally, but the federal government is importing them through “refugee” status. From Oct. 2023-Aug. 2024, the Biden-Harris administration placed 1,500 “refugees” in Wisconsin—including 453 people from Congo, 74 from Somalia, and 115 from Venezuela.
The definition of who qualifies under refugee status is very broad and subjective. It includes “democracy and human rights activists, stateless persons, and other individuals with particular vulnerabilities.” Refugees are provided housing and other support through private “sponsors” for the first 90 days and then they may be eligible for taxpayer funded benefits. What is not explained is how these refugees are vetted and the burden placed on local communities to fund public services for the added jobless population.
No Equal Justice Under the Law in Kenosha
The Kenosha County Eye recently reported about a secret program in Kenosha that treats American citizens more harshly than illegal aliens when they are charged with crimes. The Eye made a public records request but was denied information about these practices. They were still able to obtain a copy of these secret agreements made with illegal aliens.
Reportedly, Kenosha District Attorney Mike Graveley (D) issues non-criminal citation for illegal aliens, only issuing a fine for driving without a license. Subsequent infractions by illegal aliens only require a driving class and a $400 fee and then the criminal case will be removed from their record.
So much for equal justice under the law. Wisconsinites, as American citizens, receive harsher punishments than foreigners who’ve violated the nations laws by entering the country illegally. Thanks to Democrats like Graveley and Kamala Harris, there is no equal justice under the law. Word is going to get around to the Tren de Aragua gang members crossing the border—head to Wisconsin where you won’t be punished.
