Here are the Swing States Most At-Risk for Illegal Alien Voting in November

Everywhere the Democrats radically “reform” our elections, the election systems get worse

More and more Americans are growing concerned with the threat of illegal alien voters deciding the next president in 2024, thanks to Kamala Harris’ out-of-control open borders. With the result likely come down to another November nail-biter, they should be concerned—because it will decide whether we allow another 12 million illegal aliens to enter or deport them from our communities for good.

In that spirit, here are the battleground states most threatened by illegal alien voting.

Virginia

StatusExtreme Risk

Est.  illegal alien count: 454,000

When Democrats controlled the General Assembly and governor’s mansion from 2020–21, they were quick to enact laws that make it easier for them to hold power permanently. That includes offering driver’s licenses to non-citizens, automatically registering individuals to vote who interact with the state DMV, letting voters register to vote and cast a ballot on Election Day, and gutting the state’s photo ID law.

Virginia also blocks access of its voter rolls to watchdog groups like the Voter Reference Foundation (VRF), which publishes the rolls in nearly all other states to let concerned citizens identify ineligible and double-registered voters.

In fact, VRF gives Virginia a failing grade of 65/100 for overall election data transparency, something conservatives must work to improve.

Virginia has no-excuse absentee balloting and allows designated representatives to deliver a voter’s ballot, a practice known as ballot harvesting. In practice, that risks registering an illegal alien or non-citizen to vote absentee while his ballot is collected by someone else.

Fortunately, Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin has been a champion for election integrity. In August, he issued an executive order clarifying procedures for identifying and removing non-citizens who attempt to unlawfully register to vote—sending them to the Attorney General’s office. The order also scrubs the commonwealth’s voter rolls of dead voters, non-citizens, and Virginians who’ve moved to ensure accuracy. And perhaps most critically, it mandates the use of paper ballots with a strict chain of custody instead of voting machines.

Nevada

StatusExtreme Risk

Est.  illegal alien count: 317,000

Nevada Democrats authorized non-citizens to obtain driver’s licenses in 2013. In 2019, they added the option to register to vote on Election Day. And in 2020, Democrats began automatically registering to vote every Nevadan who interacts with the state health exchange or DMV.

Alarmingly, Nevada doesn’t require voters to show any form of ID to vote. In 2021, Nevada also went to all-mail elections, meaning every registered voter automatically receives a ballot in his mailbox (the riskiest way to run elections). It also has moderately loose ballot harvesting laws authorizing certain individuals to return another voter’s ballot by mail or to a ballot drop box.

In practice, that could mean that illegal aliens and other non-citizens accidentally get registered to vote after obtaining a driver’s license, which would entitle them to automatically receive a mail-in ballot… and have that ballot trafficked by someone else.

Wisconsin

StatusHigh Risk

Est. illegal alien count: 120,000

Wisconsin allows individuals to register to vote and cast a ballot on Election Day, though the state does smartly have a strict photo ID law in place. And while Wisconsin does not offer non-citizens driver’s licenses, leftist groups are agitating the Democrat governor to legalize it as Tim Walz did in neighboring Minnesota, and Milwaukee passed a resolution demanding the change statewide.

Yet a Restoration News investigation shows that some illegal aliens in Whitewater—a town overwhelmed by migrants—are unlawfully obtaining driver’s licenses, which could help them vote in November.

Alarmingly, Wisconsin does not prohibit ballot trafficking of mail-in ballots on behalf of voters. Recall, too, that many of its ballot drop boxes in major Democrat-run cities like Madison were paid for in 2020 by Mark Zuckerberg, as part of his “Zuck bucks” scheme to juice Democratic voter turnout.

The Voter Reference Foundation gives Wisconsin 79/100 for voter roll transparency. Conservatives, including Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson (R), have further pointed out that the state’s voter rolls include millions of ineligible voter rolls—as much as 4 million more than are actually eligible to vote, something Democrat Gov. Tony Evers refuses to fix.

Fortunately, Wisconsinites will be able to vote for a Citizen-Only Voting Amendment to the state constitution in November, which polls show is overwhelmingly supported by voters (including Democrats)—but not Wisconsin’s Democrat politicians.

Michigan

StatusModerate Risk

Est. illegal alien count: 200,000

While Michigan law asks voters to present an ID before voting, it also allows them to vote without an ID by signing an affidavit. Like the other states, Michigan allows individuals to register to vote and cast a ballot on Election Day.

Michigan also automatically registers to vote anyone who interacts with the DMV or—more alarmingly—the state Department of Corrections. (Felon voting, anyone?) The state also allows family members, household members, or election officials to harvest voters’ absentee ballots. Michigan has no-excuse absentee voting.

Pennsylvania

StatusModerate Risk

Est. illegal alien count: 272,000

Pennsylvania enacted automatic voter registration last year by executive fiat. Democrat Gov. Josh Shapiro, ignoring the state’s Republican legislature, announced he was automatically registering anyone who interacted with the state DMV—checks and balances be damned.

Pennsylvania had a strict photo ID law, but the state supreme court struck it down in 2012. The state also offers no-excuse absentee balloting and allows representatives to return their absentee ballots.

Pennsylvania Democrats are actively angling to grant illegal aliens driver’s licenses. But other watchdogs, such as the Public Interest Legal Foundation, have discovered that a “glitch” in the commonwealth’s election system has registered non-citizens to vote each time their apply for driver’s licenses going back more than two decades. When they sued for the records, Pennsylvania Democrats tried to shrug them off… only to lose in court.

VRF gives Pennsylvania a 72/100 for voter roll transparency for difficulty in accessing the files and problems with data completeness.

Georgia

StatusModerate Risk

Est. illegal alien count: 557,000

Georgia has a mix of good and crummy election laws, but with the 7th-highest illegal alien population in the nation, it’s at high risk of non-citizen voting in November.

Georgia Republicans have realized their mistake in enacting automatic voter registration law in 2016, something pushed by then-Sec. of State Brian Kemp (now the governor). The Left celebrates this self-inflicted injury for rapidly adding 94 percent more voters statewide, about twice as much per week than before enacting the law.

Fortunately, in February Republicans introduced a bill to flip DMV registrations from opt-out—the Left’s preference—to opt-in, a good step in defanging automatic voter registration there.

And while Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger has questionable ties to the Left, he’s made it easier to clean voter rolls—a critical step in ensuring accurate results and countering ballot fraud.

Arizona

StatusModerate Risk

Est. illegal alien count: 491,000

Of all the states on this list, Arizona’s election laws are the tightest—but its proximity to the Mexican border puts it at-risk for illegal alien voting.

Arizona’s far-left Sec. of State, Adrian Fontes, has a disturbing history of defending narco-traffickers, including defending a cartel thug caught up in Obama’s gun-running scandal Operation Fast and Furious. The thug was accused of transferring 2,000 weapons to the Sinaloa Cartel, including those used to murder a Border Patrol agent. (Incidentally, that cartel is also the largest manufacturer and distributor of lethal fentanyl in the United States.)

Fontes and other Democrats have battled Arizona’s law requiring individuals to show proof of U.S. citizenship before registering to vote, taking it all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court in August (where they thankfully lost). Their goal was quite baldly to allow tens or hundreds of thousands of non-citizens to register to vote in federal races, including U.S. president.

That includes Rep. Ruben Gallego, who’s running for Arizona’s U.S. Senate seat. They’re gunning to transform Arizona into California if they win in November.

VRF gives Arizona a 77/100 for voter roll transparency, citing difficulties in accessibility.
