Trump Acts Where Biden Won’t. Just Look at His Support for this North Carolina Student Suspended for Saying Illegal Alien
A Davidson County, North Carolina family is fighting back to protect their son and clear his name after he was a victim of political correctness, and they’re getting help from the presidential frontrunner
Restoration News reported last month on a North Carolina high school student, Christian McGhee, who was suspended by woke school bureaucrats for saying the phrase “illegal alien” in his classroom in Davidson County. It’s even crazier than it sounds: Christian, who was given an assignment using the term “alien,” asked for clarification from the teacher whether she meant space alien or illegal alien, only to be labeled a racist and given a 3-day suspension from school.
Upon returning to school, Christian was bullied and threatened so badly his family pulled him out of school for safety reasons. Christian’s Mom, Leah McGhee, attempted to reach out to the school board for help with no response.
In retaliation, Leah alleges that two school board members sent messages to county leaders and residents with her personal arrest record from 14 years ago and encouraged them to share it on social media—a blatant attempt to dox her. The McGhee family has now filed a lawsuit against the Davidson County School Board.
One bright light for Christian is a letter and gift that he recently received from President Trump. The letter commends Christian’s achievements and praises him for being a brave patriot who enforces “our God-given rights despite the consequences.”
On behalf of Christian and his family, the Liberty Justice Center is suing the school board for violating his rights to free speech, education, and due process. Dean McGee, Educational Freedom Attorney at the Liberty Justice Center, stated:
School officials have effectively fabricated a racial incident out of thin air and branded our client as a racist without even giving him an opportunity to appeal. Fortunately, young people do not shed their First Amendment rights at school, and we look forward to vindicating Christian’s rights here.
This is a developing story.
