Student Suspended for Saying “Illegal Alien” Files Injunction against Woke School District

The Left’s attempt to ruin a young North Carolina man by labeling him a racist has backfired after recordings and text messages of school officials were released. Now he’s striking back.

Woke ideologues at one North Carolina school are getting more than they bargained for when they tried to smear a student for saying “illegal alien” in April.

Christian McGhee, a talented student athlete at Central Davidson High school, was suspended in April for asking a clarifying question on a classroom assignment regarding the term “alien”—did the teacher mean “space alien” or “illegal alien”? For that woke peccadillo, the outraged teacher labeled him a racist and the school suspended Christian, barred from completing his athletic season, and exposed him to bullying and threats from other students when he was allowed to return to campus.

Christian’s quick-thinking mother, Leah McGee, recorded her subsequent conversation with the assistant principal, Eric Anderson, when they were told Christian would be suspended. According to the McGhee’s attorney, Anderson is no longer employed at the school and the family has filed an injunction against the school district.

The shocking recording reveals assistant principal Anderson equating the term “illegal alien” with using the n-word. Anderson also went on to denigrate the teacher for “being so young and female.”

The injunction, filed by the Liberty Justice Center, also reveals that members of the school board were attacking Leah McGhee by spreading her mugshot on social media as well as false allegations about her and Christian. Leah previously suffered with a drug addiction but has since recovered and has become an advocate to help others. She was even appointed to a Brunswick County addiction commission by a superior court judge.

The Culture War Comes to Your Local School

Board chair Alan Beck is accused of texting false allegations to a state senator stating that Christian had been thrown out of several schools and that Leah has a history of harassment. According to the injunction another board member, Ashley Carroll, sent text messages to another community leader making a false claim that Christian “was kicked out of multiple schools for being a racist.”

We’ve included the text messages shared by school board member Ashley Carroll below. Citizens should call for her resignation for this abhorrent behavior.

The McGhee family received violent, hate filled threats, and had to remove Christian from his school. Central Davidson School District messed with the wrong family. Kudos to them for not letting the leftist bullies win and for fighting back to clear their son’s name and hold those responsible accountable.
