POLL: North Carolina Voters Want America First, Not Forever Wars

Biden’s foreign policy and unending support the failed Ukraine war are hammering voters of all stripes in the Tarheel state

A large majority (69 percent) of North Carolinians—including Republicans, Democrats, and Independents—completely oppose the Democrats’ policy of unlimited financial support for Ukraine, according to a recent poll.

In contrast, only 21 percent are in favor of President Joe Biden’s policy of funding the war with borrowed money, according to the poll by Steve Cortes’ League of American Workers. The Biden administration’s relentless efforts to keep Americans financially involved in “forever wars,” despite billions in taxpayer dollars bleeding out of the country, has led many Americans to now favor an “America First” foreign policy plan.

The largest bloc of respondents (38 percent) believes that continuing to fund Ukraine’s war at any cost with Russia is a “bad idea,” while another 31 percent support funding Ukraine only if it is accompanied by substantial budget cuts, a condition the Biden administration continuously refuses to entertain.

That’s a devastating defeat for Biden, who’s positioning himself as a foreign policy president in the waning days of his failed administration. Fully 53 percent of those polled say they were better off under former President Donald Trump and 59 percent say “Bidenomics” hasn’t helped an iota.

Meanwhile, Washington elites have poured a stunning $175 billion to date on a war with no clear end or defined U.S. objective to support a regime that’s never been an American ally. That’s more than the total expenditure of the 14-year Vietnam War, which spanned three presidencies, by a whopping $34 billion.

Fighting Against Our Allies

Public opinion surrounding Biden’s support for Gaza and Hamas terrorists is even more bleak.

When asked if Biden’s actions and statements regarding the Israel-Gaza war would make respondents more or less likely to support Biden in November, 59 percent said Biden’s statements would make them “somewhat” or “much less likely”, according to the Cortes poll.

The largest bloc, 47 percent, said it made them “much less likely.” A meager 10 percent said it made them “much more likely.”

Restoration News has previously exposed the significant financial support driving recent pro-Hamas protests on college campuses nationwide and the major donors urging Israel to halt its self-defense actions.

Biden himself has pledged to unseat Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu through political interference and has continued to provide aid to Israel’s enemies in Gaza. It’s evident that America’s only ally in the Middle East cannot rely on Democrats to uphold our nations’ alliance.

Radical Democrats support anti-Semites in their own party—such as Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar—who hold Israeli victims responsible for Hamas’ violent actions and advocate for the resettlement of Palestinian refugees.

If anything is very clear, Democrats want to spend your money on never ending wars and continue to feed Israel to terrorist aggressors. For the Left, It’s America last.
