Moms for America, Arizona Right to Life Endorse Voter Registration Sunday
More groups are flocking to the new Christian get-out-the-vote effort each week
Christian groups are pushing to make this coming Sunday, September 15—National Voter Registration Sunday—the largest Christian voter registration event in America.
Now two new organizations have endorsed the coalition: Moms for America and Arizona Right to Life. They join endorsements from Catholic Vote, Faith Wins, North Carolina Values Coalition, Moms for Arizona, Susan B. Anthony List, American Principles Project, American Majority, and the Foundation for the Restoration of America.
“Just like every life matters, every vote matters. Register to vote to make your voice heard,” Arizona Right to Life board member Ashley Trussell told Restoration News.
Kimberly Fletcher, founder of Moms for America, said: “Our vote is our voice for our values. If we are not voting, our voice is not heard, and our values are not represented. If we want a nation where life is protected, the law is respected, religious freedom is secured and our children safe, we must vote.”
National Voter Registration Sunday is a non-partisan, ecumenical, grassroots coalition of Evangelical and Catholic organizations with a common message: Christians must vote biblically, just as they live biblically in every other part of their lives.
Voting your conscience is obedience to God so long as God has given believers the right to choose their leaders—a right that is increasingly under threat from pro-abortion groups, militant secularists, and radical atheists.
The goal is not to bring politics to the pulpit, but for Christians to express their biblical citizenship as both citizens of heaven and the United States of America under the lordship of Jesus Christ. We can be faithful voters and remain heavenly-minded.
