Joe Biden Lied About His Abortion Stance at the Debate. Here’s What He Really Supports
Either Joe Biden is lying or has no recollection of his staunch support for abortion without limitations—you decide.
Biden denied that he supports late term abortions during the first presidential debate on June 27, but facts show otherwise. Restoration News has proof that he advocated for abortion without any restrictions… but bear with us as we attempt to decipher Joe’s incoherent ramblings from the revealing debate.
He said, “I supported Roe v. Wade, which had three trimesters”—what does that even mean? Then he continued apparently describing three trimesters of Roe v. Wade with the third trimester being “between the doctor—I mean, it’d be between the woman and the state.” This unintelligible statement from the leader of the free world is just one example of why Joe Biden should be removed from office, but back to his stance on abortion.
Biden supported the so-called Women’s Health Protection Act of 2021. This legislation—which narrowly failed in the Senate thanks to Joe Manchin (D) siding with Republicans—was pushed by the Biden-Harris administration. A letter from President Biden on Sept. 20, 2021, regarding the H.R.3755 bill stated, “the Administration strongly supports House passage of H.R. 3755, the Women’s Health Protection Act of 2021.”
The legislation specifically stated, “it is the purpose of this Act . . . to permit health care providers to provide abortion services without limitations.” The failed legislation even advocated for minors to be able to have an abortion—a major surgical procedure—without parental consent or knowledge.
As recently as March 2024—just 3 months prior to the June debate—Joe Biden released a statement encouraging pharmacies to become certified to dispense abortion medications. He referred to the drug mifepristone, which induces abortion, as “health care.” Biden mentions no restrictions on the drug, including for a woman who is 9-months pregnant, even though abortion without limits is a view that a vast majority of Americans reject.

Democrats Support Infanticide
Democrats have gone so far left that serious headlines read like satire. Just a few years ago in Virginia, multiple Democrat leaders publicly voiced support for babies being killed during and after birth.
Democrat Del. Kathy Tran, a big Biden-Harris supporter, proposed a bill that would have no restrictions on abortion. While being questioned about her bill by the House Majority Leader Todd Gilbert (R), she doubled down in support of infanticide.
Former Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D), a pediatric neurosurgeon of all things, also voiced support for a woman being able to choose whether to kill her baby after it was born. He said:
If a mother is in labor . . . the infant would be delivered, the infant would be kept comfortable, the infant would be resuscitated (if that’s what the mother and family desired), and then a discussion would ensue between the physician and the mother.
How can anyone think it’s acceptable for a physician or a parent to kill a child?
When Democrats had full control of the Virginia legislature, they were able to pass a law that permits abortion up to birth if physicians determine that a woman could have a future mental health impairment after delivery. In other words, if doctors determine that a woman could develop depression after giving birth, it’s legal under Virginia law to kill her baby even as she’s dilating. These are the types of policies supported by today’s Democrat Party.
It is astonishing that Joe Biden, with these staunchly pro-abortion views, professes to be a practicing Catholic. He met with the Pope in 2021 and according to Biden the Pope said that he was a “good Catholic” who should “keep receiving communion.”
If the Women’s Health Protection Act of 2021 that Biden-Harris so strongly supported had passed, infanticide would have become law. That doesn’t seem to align with Catholic or constitutional principles.
