Anti-Social Media: The Big Tech Partners of the Globalist World Economic Forum
You’ll own nothing and like it.
You might not know that WEF partners with the biggest names in Big Tech, the companies that control social media and the internet.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) has become synonymous with globalist dystopianism. In 2016, WEF published its plan for the future: “Welcome to 2030: I own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been better.” As former WEF head Klaus Schwab would say, this is the world that will be created by the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The plan described a world of 24/7 surveillance, no private homes or property at all, robots and AI taking over jobs, and dependence on the powers-that-be for everything from transport to cooking utensils. After trying to frame this nightmarish world as a utopia full of endless joy and satisfaction, WEF let the mask slip a little: “Once in awhile I get annoyed about the fact that I have no real privacy. No where I can go and not be registered. I know that, somewhere, everything I do, think and dream of is recorded. I just hope that nobody will use it against me.”
This is the evil entity with which many of our biggest technology companies are partnered, the same tech companies that meddle in our elections, censor our speech, design our devices, and provide our communications services.
Using Big Tech to Manipulate America
WEF lists its partner companies and organizations on its website, and these include Amazon, Apple, Bytedance (the Chinese parent company of TikTok), Google, Meta, Microsoft, Palantir, and PayPal. MRC Free Speech America rated Google, Meta, TikTok, and Amazon among the worst censors of 2024, partly for interfering in the 2024 election (disclosure: I write for MRC). Microsoft’s LinkedIn and PayPal also target free speech, PayPal by financially restricting or deplatforming users. It is worth noting that a number of these companies also have contracts with the U.S. government and military (even aside from cooperation via court orders like the government demanding user data from search engines, and other partnerships). Microsoft, for instance, was just accused of using Chinese engineers to help maintain U.S. Defense Department computers, and Google has a new $200 million AI contract from the Defense Department. Meta provided its Llama AI to U.S. defense agencies and contractors. Yet these tech companies, tied to the U.S. government’s sensitive national security agencies and data, are also openly anti-First Amendment and partner with one of the most insidious globalist organizations.
Among WEF’s favorite topics are “climate change,” women’s rights (except in Communist or Islamic countries or against “trans” athletes), artificial intelligence, and “global stakeholders,” which is another phrase for “one world oligarchical government.” On all of these topics, WEF exhibits intense hypocrisy and authoritarian tendencies. Its climate mantra is just an excuse to impoverish and oppress most people, for instance. We are to surrender our cars, our meat, our homes, our rights, and our freedoms to eat bugs and live in tiny state-owned apartments. For the environment, of course. Meanwhile, the elites will continue to fly in private jets, live in beachfront mansions, and eat steak and caviar at luxury resorts. Because they’re special.
What are the areas wherein WEF is planning dystopian developments relevant to Big Tech, developments which the above-named partner companies could put into action? Disturbingly, WEF pushed a digital currency and social credit score like China’s, where the CCP simply turns a dissident’s QR code red and he can no longer go anywhere or do anything. WEF likewise described its proposed digital ID as being required to go anywhere or do anything, from healthcare to voting to shopping to travel. The forum partnered with the Dutch and Canadian governments on developing such an ID, and is hoping to get more countries on board— the Biden administration showed interest, but fortunately America voted them out of office.
Another hot topic right now is artificial intelligence, but WEF like Big Tech has been plotting to change the world with AI for some years. In 2023, for instance, WEF predicted which jobs were most likely to be lost or gained based on AI. Notably, the jobs likely to be helped by AI were largely white-collar jobs that require degrees, like robotics engineers, AI learning specialists, business intelligence analysts, and electrotechnology engineers. Most of the jobs likely to be lost because of AI were blue-collar jobs or ones that don’t require expensive degrees, like bank tellers, street vendors, postal clerks, and cashiers. WEF did not want to admit in the article that AI will only benefit white collar workers who can afford to get more degrees and go into technology. Blue-collar workers will just be out of luck. It’s the same attitude Joe Biden had when he callously told coal miners, “learn how to program.”
Unfortunately for us, WEF also sees artificial intelligence as an excuse for pushing the universal digital ID nightmare described above. WEF created an AI Governance Alliance that aims to use AI to “transform industries” and “enhance governance.” In January, WEF released a white paper on how dictatorial Communist China’s AI efforts are a “Blueprint to Action.” WEF raved about the genocidal Chinese government’s hands-on approach to controlling AI. Now the rest of the world is supposed to follow suit. What WEF did not clarify is that in China, every company is required to share data not only with the Chinese government, but with the military, meaning that all AI innovation has to be at the disposal of a genocidal military. This is the blueprint WEF wants other governments to follow.
Censorship is Freedom, Murder is Salvation?
There are plenty of other areas where WEF proposes disturbingly dictatorial policies and brazenly false propaganda, all of which are relevant to this piece because Big Tech, of course, has a lengthy track record of censoring opinions which are not approved by the globalist elites. I already mentioned how fanatically dedicated WEF is to climate alarmism, a topic for which Big Tech has often censored. In 2016, WEF declared, “Goodbye car ownership, hello clean air: welcome to the future of transport.” In 2019, WEF insisted, “You will be eating replacement meats within 20 years.” In 2022, WEF urged economies to go “post growth” and told people to eat insects to save the planet. In 2023, WEF urged increased use of public transport in cities. WEF partnered with the C40 Cities initiative to end private car ownership, restrict clothing ownership, and phase out meat.
WEF calls abortion, which beheads, dismembers, or starves babies to death, and which also has numerous harmful effects on women, a necessity for “women’s economic freedom.” This at a time when most of the world seems headed toward massive population collapse.
In one article, WEF makes the argument that killing poor women’s babies reduces poverty. Apparently, the solution to poverty is mass murder! Stalin and Mao could not have conceived a more diabolical plan.
Speaking of Mao, how can we forget WEF’s love affair with the genocidal Chinese Communist Party (CCP), responsible for more deaths than any other regime in human history (500,000,000 and counting)? In 2023, I exclusively revealed that WEF was partnered with 47 CCP-controlled entities. That same year, WEF bragged that its summer conference in China was chaired by a CCP official. This year, the CCP vice premier was a featured and honored speaker at WEF’s Davos conference. WEF also claimed this year that China is showing the world how to make a “green transition” even as China builds hundreds of new coal plants. As noted above, WEF also pushed a digital currency and social credit score like the CCP’s,
To sum up all this alarming information: WEF is bent on creating a global dystopia, and our most powerful Big Tech companies are part of the plan. In Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984, he described “Big Brother,” the ever present, ever authoritarian surveillance state embodied as a sinister overlord. But Big Brother is more than fiction. WEF’s plans for a digital ID, for 24/7 surveillance, for a new AI era, for tight control of online speech, that all depends on the cooperation of technology companies. Facebook, TikTok, Google, and the rest censor speech of which WEF disapproves, develop tech for surveilling citizens, and join in developing plans for weaponizing digital advances against political dissidents. Big Tech’s AI push, its continued censorship regime, and its ties to various governments (including America’s) are all deeply disturbing in light of the partnerships with WEF. Because WEF and Big Tech together form a 21st century “Big Brother” that can implement an Orwellian dystopia.
