Virginia: Democrat Official Arrested for Abusive Child Pornography
Perpetrator has ties to high-ranking Democrats including McClellan, Spanberger and Hashmi.
High-profile Democrat official Randon Sprinkle was arrested in December for sending videos of a young child being raped to an undercover FBI agent. Despite Sprinkle’s status as a well-connected Democrat insider, party leaders have mostly ignored these disturbing charges. Nor has there been any visible effort to advocate for the children who were harmed.
Sprinkle has close ties to U.S. Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan, Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger, Lt. Governor-elect Ghazala Hashmi, and others. He has held several leadership roles for the Democratic Party of Virginia.
According to a criminal affidavit, an online undercover (OCE) FBI agent was monitoring an LGBT online dating platform. The OCE maintained an online profile that expressed interest in the sexual exploitation of children—a law enforcement technique used to draw out predators. Sprinkle contacted the OCE claiming he was “horny” and wanted to continue communicating through the Telegram app. Sprinkle reportedly told the OCE he was into young rape and incest and then sent the OCE videos of a young boy being raped by a man. Sprinkle expressed interest in meeting the OCE’s son so he could sexually abuse him—saying his favorite ages were toddlers through elementary school.
On Oct. 21, 2025, the FBI issued a search warrant at Sprinkle’s home and found dozens of pictures of videos and photographs of child sexual abuse material—including photos of toddlers. Sprinkle was arrested on Dec. 14 and on Dec. 22, a judge denied a pre-trial release. The prosecution is still trying to identify the victims in the videos possessed by Sprinkle.

Embedded in Democrat Inner Circles
Not only was Sprinkle a high-ranking Virginia Democrat leader, he moved in the party’s inner circle. In 2024, he was elected to serve alongside Lt. Governor-elect Ghazala Hashmi as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention where he hung out with other high-profile Democrats like Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer.
Randon Sprinkle actively served on the board of the Democratic Party of Virginia, holding the position of Finance Chair. He was also the treasurer of the Young Democrats.

Sprinkle served as a paid political director for U.S. Rep. Jennifer McClellan (D) during her failed 2021 bid for Virginia governor. He served as McClellan’s legislative aide when she was a state senator. Numerous photos of the two together suggest a close relationship between them.
Sprinkle, whose resume doesn’t reflect a man of financial wealth, gave over $2,000 to Spanberger's and Hashmi’s recent campaigns. He has numerous photos with other prominent Democrats such as Virginia Sen. Louise Lucas, former Gov. Ralph Northam, former Attorney General Mark Herring, former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttegieg, and more.
Sprinkle fills his X feed with pro-trans and gay-pride commentary. In a video of Sprinkle at the 2024 Democrat convention he claims to be a “member of the LGBTQ community.” In one photo he wears a shirt advocating for the “queer agenda”—including the legalization of sex work. In another photo, Sprinkle poses with seven other gay men in risqué attire in front of a trans flag. Two of them are wearing leashes and the caption reads: “#DCPride just about took me out but I’m still here and possibly even gayer.”
Sprinkle has several photos on his social media holding his toddler nephew and calling himself “Guncle”—presumably gay uncle. A frightening scenario given Sprinkle’s apparent affinity for sexually abusing small children.
Why have the Democratic Party—and leaders such as Spanberger, Hashmi, McClellan, and other high ranking Virginia Democrats—lost their microphones? They haven’t denounced the harm perpetrated on the children in the porn videos found in Sprinkle’s possession.
Is this a sign of things to come now that Democrats are in full control of Virginia? The silence is deafening.
