Trust the Venezuelan Civil Liberties Union to Put Illegal Aliens Above Americans
Radical leftist lawyers are blocking Trump’s mandate to deport violent illegal alien gangbangers with the Supreme Court’s help.
Why is the Supreme Court and its "conservative" majority blocking deportation of illegal aliens?
Just before Easter, the high court issued an "unprecedented" 7–2 decision temporarily barring the Trump administration from deporting at least two Venezuelan men in ICE custody believed to be members of Tren de Aragua. That's the ultraviolent gang recently designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) for "undertaking hostile actions against the United States."
We know little about the illegal aliens in question, mysteriously listed under pseudonyms in court documents (A.A.R.P. and W.M.M.). Both are held in ICE custody in the Bluebonnet Detention Center in Anson, Texas. W.M.M. was arrested in March on a misdemeanor for illegal entry into the country and reportedly associated with Tren de Aragua on his social media profiles and the residence where he was arrested.
Reports suggest A.A.R.P. may be Alessandro Paredes Worwa, whom liberal news reports have characterized as a sympathetic 19-year-old seeking asylum. "This is not being done by law, this is totally illegal and it's out of the blue," Paredes told ABC News. The media omit charges that Worwa pointed a gun at employees of a South Carolina restaurant before fleeing the scene by car.
This follows on the heels of a prior case blocking all deportations under the Alien Enemies Act by judge James Boasberg, an Obama appointee to the D.C. District Court, who placed a Temporary Restraining Order on the administration on March 15. Under the Alien Enemies Act, President Trump has full authority to detain and deport foreign citizens accused of a supporting an "invasion" or "predatory incursion," no court hearing needed. Republicans have introduced legislation to impeach Boasberg for "usurping the role" of the President.
Previous reports indicate Boasberg rules reliably in favor of the Deep State, and against U.S. security interests.
Conservative Justices John Roberts, Amy Coney Barrett, Neil Gorsuch, and Brett Kavanaugh joined the liberal minority in blocking the deportations, and upholding Boasberg's ruling. Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito blasted the irresponsible decision in their dissent, writing:
In sum, literally in the middle of the night, the Court issued unprecedented and legally questionable relief without giving the lower courts a chance to rule, without hearing from the opposing party, within eight hours of receiving the application, with dubious factual support for its order, and without providing any explanation for its order.
At the heart of it: The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), a far-left litigation group working to keep America's borders open—and advance Democrats' radical agenda undermining American democracy.
"The ACLU seems to be doing everything imaginable to keep illegal aliens in the U.S. with complete disregard to the safety of American citizens," Lori Roman, chairman and CEO of the American Constitutional Rights Union (ACRU), told Restoration News. "They are even sending letters to sheriffs trying to discourage them from legally working with ICE, despite the fact that federal law allows cooperation between local law enforcement agencies and ICE through the 287g program. This is why, at the American Constitutional Rights Union, we have created an initiative to encourage local law enforcement to take legal steps to protect law abiding citizens from criminal illegal aliens."
The ACLU has a long history of defending villains. Throughout the Cold War, the group was accused of being a front for Soviet Communists. Its founding chairman, Harry F. Ward, simultaneously chaired a prominent Communist Party USA affiliate that supported the Soviet alliance with Hitler's Germany.
The ACLU led the defense of the 1925 Scopes trial defending a textbook that taught evolution in public schools, still celebrated by "progressives" today. Forgotten is the racist textbook itself, which divided all people into "five races or varieties of man, each very different from the other in instincts, social customs, and, to an extent, in structure." The "negro type" was placed at the bottom, whereas "the highest type of all [were] the Caucasians, represented by the civilized white inhabitants of Europe and America."
Today the ACLU advocates for multi-trillion-dollar slavery reparations and DEI to combat America's "systemic racism." It's heavily funded by cynical anti-American mega-donors, from the Ford Foundation to George Soros' Open Society Foundations.
In fact, there's nothing the radical Democratic Party supports that doesn't find support among the ACLU's far-left litigators—including punishment for "misgendering" transgender mental patients, as Colorado Democrats recently proposed in a bill that would allow judges to take parents' children away if they use the wrong pronouns.
That, of course, extends to opening the border to tens of millions of illegal aliens, including violent criminals from the Tren de Aragua gang.
Under Trump, federal agents have arrested hundreds of such thugs. At the same time the Supreme Court was blocking the deportation orders, Florida police arrested a gangbanger wanted for robbing $30,000 in high-end merchandise from three dozen liquor stores across the state at gunpoint. Also over the weekend: ICE counterterrorist agents arrested a Tren de Aragua thug in Columbus, Ohio.
Last month, ICE and FBI agents arrested a high-ranking MS-13 leader responsible for widespread gun, extortion, and terrorist activities operating in Hyattsville, Maryland— one of their highest-profile arrests yet. They arrested another MS-13 senior leader in northern Virginia in the same month.
America deserves better than this. President Trump won an electoral mandate from the American people to seal the border and deport enemies of the nation, who spent four years devastating our communities under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
We deserve a Supreme Court that will put Americans first—not side with the ACLU extremists who always put America last.
