This Law Firm is the Nexus for Soros DAs in Texas
A law firm that donates almost exclusively to Democrats and has a history of defending leftist district attorneys is representing two George Soros-back district attorneys in Texas.
The lawless network of leftist cronies aiming to undermine core American values is rearing its head in Texas, where two prosecutors funded by megadonor George Soros are represented by a law firm that defends rogue prosecutors and donates to the Democratic Party.
The firm, Miller and Chevalier, has a history of representing rogue, ideological prosecutors and has donated nearly $900,000—95 percent of its total federal donations—to Democrats over the last 10 years. The firm now represents Travis County District Attorney José Garza and Bexar County District Attorney Joe Gonzales—Soros-backed district attorneys who face ridicule and potential charges for their soft-on-crime policies.
Michael Satin of Miller and Chevalier, who represents Garza, previously represented Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner who was impeached by the Pennsylvania House Republican Caucus for improper use of prosecutorial discretion, mismanaging his office, and purposeful ineffectiveness in combating crime.
In his first run for District Attorney, Krasner received $1.7 million—90 percent of his campaign funds—from Soros-funded groups. In his 2021 re-election campaign, he received a combined $1,259,000 from these same groups.
“By impeaching Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner, we put ourselves on the record that we stand with the people of Philadelphia who have been living in fear for their lives and the safety of themselves and their families,” Pennsylvania House Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff said at the time.
The firm, through attorney Laura Ferguson, also represented Central Florida prosecutor Monique Worrell who was ousted by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) in 2023 for “neglecting her duty to faithfully prosecute crime in her jurisdiction.”
“The people of Central Florida deserve to have a State Attorney who will seek justice in accordance with the law instead of allowing violent criminals to roam the streets and find new victims,” DeSantis said at the time.
Worrell received nearly $1 million from Soros-funded groups.
New Cases in Texas
The district attorneys in Texas are being prosecuted under HB 17, which allows courts to remove district attorneys for “official misconduct,” and a proposed rule from Marchrequiring district attorneys to submit further information on crimes not prosecuted to the attorney general’s office.
In April, the Bexar County commissioner’s court approved an expenditure of $50,000 for Bexar County District Attorney Joe Gonzales to hire Miller and Chevalier.
The approval is a preliminary step in preparation for Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) to use a proposed rule to oust Gonzales from his office. The rule requires district attorneys who represent populations over 250,000 to provide additional information for cases in which a person arrested for a violent offense is not indicted.
His decision to prepare for the rule paints a stark picture of what Texas Attorney General Paxton may find, as Soros-funded district attorneys have a long history of letting crime go unpunished.
Soros contributed $1 million personally and an additional $150,000 from his federal Democracy PAC to the Texas Justice & Public Safety PAC to support Gonzales in 2022.
“District Attorneys who choose not to prosecute criminals appropriately have created unthinkable damage in Texas communities,” Paxton said in a statement in March. “These enhanced reporting standards will create much-needed transparency and enable the public to hold their elected officials accountable.”
Travis County District Attorney José Garza is also under fire, as a Travis County resident alleges the prosecutor should be removed “due to incompetency and official misconduct.” The petition states that Garza “indiscriminately” presses charges against law enforcement officials and refuses to prosecute crimes.
“Because [Garza’s] conduct makes him unqualified to serve as district attorney, he should be removed from office,” the petition states.
The portioner, Mary Dupuis, later revealed that she was sexually assaulted, but the district attorney’s office declined to prosecute. The allegations against Garza are filed under provisions allowed by HB 17.
Garza has received $447,000 from Soros, according to the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund.

Soros-Backed Attorneys
George Soros and his associated groups have funded 75 pro-criminal attorneys using nearly $40 million in donations.
The effects are drastic for law, order, and justice.
In 2020, Soros pushed $659,000 into the Loudoun County, Virginia commonwealth attorney race backing Buta Biberaj. Biberaj openly states that she lets criminals go so that she can focus on, “murder, rape, and domestic violence, not speeding tickets.”
Despite what she claims, of the 735 domestic violence cases brought to her office, she dismissed 491, bringing a tiny 8 percent to trial. How does that add up?
Biberaj is just one of 75 district attorneys wreaking havoc on Americans. In total, the Soros-funded district attorneys represent nearly one-fifth of Americans.
In Portland, district attorney Mike Schmidt, who received $320,000 from Soros, announced that he would not charge rioters with felonies. Instead, he chose to defend them.
In California, Soros spent $275,000 backing Contra Costa County district attorney Diana Becton. Becton is soft on crime, and one of the charges she ignores is graffiti—that is unless you violate the political allegiance she represents.
After a couple allegedly painted over a Black Lives Matter mural, she filed three misdemeanor charges against them: violation of civil rights, vandalism, and possession of tools to commit vandalism. I guess she only charges those who paint over vandalism instead of those who initially vandalized.
Makes sense.
George Soros and his leftist cronies are destroying the justice system in America. And it now seems when the attorneys that fail Americans are called into question, there is a go-to law firm to help them out—a law firm that donates solely to Democrat candidates.
