The Insurrection Party Hasn’t Accepted a GOP President Win Since 1988

…and other insurrection-y facts the left-wing media conveniently ignores.

If you can’t tell the difference between Donald J. Trump and Robert E. Lee, you’re probably an elected Democrat.

As the Supreme Court hears arguments about stripping the leading 2024 presidential candidate from the November ballot using the Civil War-era 14th Amendment, we thought it aproposto list just some examples of Democrat politicians and far-left groups acting, well, insurrection-y. Not just since the 2020 “summer of love,” when Black Lives Matter rioters burned America’s cities to the tune of $1–2 billion, but for decades.

Take it as yet more evidence that under totalitarian Democrats, America’s developed a corrupt, two-tiered justice system that rewards the regime’s allies while ferociously punishing conservatives—often for committing wrongthink. Until voters in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and other swing states realize they’ve been betrayed, the Left will continue its daily assault on our families and freedom.

Stolen Elections

New York Rep. Joseph Morelle (D) recently sermonized Republicans at a hearing to ban Zuck bucks in elections not to complain “when elections don’t go our way,” but rather “accept our losses with grace, humility, and an unwavering faith in the wisdom of voters . . . these are the things that make America truly great.”

Oh really?

Congressional Democrats have objected to certifying electoral votes for every Republican presidential winner since George H.W. Bush, something even the New York Times admits. “You can run the best campaign, you can even become the nominee, and you can have the election stolen from you,” Hillary Clinton complained of her 2016 loss, calling Trump an “illegitimate president” countless times in interviews and television appearances.

“Trump didn’t actually win the election in 2016,” former President Jimmy Carter said in 2019. “He was put into office because the Russians interfered on his behalf.”

In 2018, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY)—the next likely Speaker should Democrats retake control in 2024—called the 2016 “ILLEGITIMATE,” tweeting Russia helped Republicans “CHEAT” Trump into office.

“The fact is, Democrats have not accepted a Republican Presidential victory since 1988,” Republican National Lawyers Association president Michael Thielen told Restoration News. “Just two weeks ago President Biden was denying the election of the current Republican Governor of Virginia. Now they are taking it to another level and trying to even deny the likely Republican nominee’s appearance on the ballot.”

Chief Election Denier

But being a Democrat means never having to say you’re sorry. For all the Left’s hatred of so-called “election deniers,” consider the shameless election denialism of Stacey Abrams, the twice-failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate leftists have propped up for years (including a bizarre one-off as Star Trek’s President of United Earth in 2022).

Abrams denied losing her 2018 bid at least 35 times, calling the election “stolen” and claiming “I just didn’t win… officially.” Here’s Georgia’s governor-in-exile bragging in 2019:

We had this little election back in 2018. And despite the final tally and the inauguration and the situation we find ourselves in, I do have one very affirmative statement to make. We won.

The Wall Street Journal may call it an “amusing spectacle,” but in 2024 that’s dangerous election disinformation that can get you prosecuted by Joe Biden’s Justice Department—if you’re a conservative, that is.

Heck, Biden himself owes his entire presidency to a blatant election denier: South Carolina Rep. James Clyburn (D), who famously rescued the campaign of the dementia-addled basement dweller in 2020 with a strategic endorsement. Yet in Jan. 2005, Clyburn was one of 31 House Democrats who objected to certifying Ohio’s electoral votes because electronic voting machines—and the company that built them—had allegedly transferred votes from John Kerry to George W. Bush.

Amazingly, they raised no such objection when Barack Obama narrowly clinched Ohio three years later.

Capitol Violence

The Supreme Court confirmation hearing of Justice Brett Kavanaugh in 2018 was one of the most contentious in history… thanks entirely to the activist Left. In Sept. 2018, Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake (R) was cornered in an elevator by two shrieking Democrat operatives from the extremist group Center for Popular Democracy, who demanded the moderate Senator oppose Kavanaugh’s confirmation. Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D–Beijing) later brought one of the women to the State of the Union as her guest.

In 2011, thousands of far-left protesters stormed the Wisconsin State Capitol to protest Republican Gov. Scott Walker’s collective bargaining bill. Dangerous rioters made death threats against Walker and drew chalk outlines of fake dead bodies etched with his name with the words, “Don’t Retreat, Reload.” Police later discovered .22 bullets on capitol grounds.

In D.C., Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi praised that insurrection as an “impressive show of democracy in action” and she “[stood] in solidarity” with the activists.

In 2016, 40-odd Democrats staged a sit-in on the House of Representatives floor, pledging to “occupy” it until Republicans supported their gun control bill. (It only ended when Republicans turned off the C-SPAN cameras and everyone shuffled home.)

Celebrating Terrorism

Flash forward to Jan. 2024, when some 400,000 pro-Hamas activists descended on the capitol to heckle “Genocide Joe” and demand a ceasefire favorable to Hamas, marking the 100th day since the terrorist group’s Oct. 7 attack in Israel. By evening, the march had devolved into a violent insurrection threatening the gates of the White House as rioters attacked law enforcement with projectiles, battered barricades, and vandalized monuments of U.S. heroes with “Free Gaza” and “Free Palestine” graffiti.

Restoration News was the first to report that the riot was organized by an extremist group currently under investigation by Virginia’s attorney general for allegedly providing financial aid to terrorists.

Or there’s the Oct. 2023 insurrection in which far-left rioters—led by Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D–Gaza)—briefly conquered a House office building on capitol grounds. That was followed a month later by a similar takeover of the Democratic National Committee, forcing Democrat politicians to hide in the basement or be evacuated from their own activists under armed escort.

No End in Sight

And that was all before the advent of Trump 2.0. Should Republicans win in November 2024, no one can predict how fanatic—and violent—these lunatics will get. What’s clear is that the Democratic Party craves power above all else, and will do anything to keep it—even if it means defying the will of voters.

So don’t count on grace, courage, or soul-searching from Democrats come Election Day. You won’t get it.
