Stealing the Sanity of a Nation

Henry Nowak's tragic death was not only completely preventable, but was the result of a system designed to strip Britain of everything that made it British.

In spring 2025, the now-deposed British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that the four-part Netflix series "Adolescence" would be made available to all secondary schools for free. The Prime Minister encouraged teachers to show students the series to encourage discussion in the classroom. 

The series follows a 13-year-old white British boy arrested on the charge of murdering a female classmate. It depicts the murderer as captivated by online content commonly referred to as the "manosphere." The series labeled the 13-year-old white male murderer as a victim of online content that produced toxic masculinity. 

Prime Minister Starmer proudly endorsed the series that displays white male Britons as the face of knife crime and potential victims to a supposed online industry of "toxic masculinity." Starmer gave his nation a sanctimonious message about who and what to be worried about. Of course, that was the white man and his tendencies for “toxic masculinity.” 

Starmer gave this sermon to a nation in which white British children are entirely absent from 72 schools, make up less than 2 percent of the student body in 454 schools, and are a minority in 25% of all schools.

This increasingly marginalized group was not given diversity initiatives to ensure they could succeed; instead, they were labeled as the issue. That is plainly because they are not the right kind of minority.

Henry Nowak, then attending his final year of Secondary School, might have been one of the white male Britons forced to watch a show depicting them as violent criminals in a country where they're becoming a minority. 

While Britain's political class promoted a drama portraying white boys as potential threats, it paid next to no attention to the violence and social breakdown in the country's rapidly growing immigrant population.

Months after young Brits were forced to watch "Adolescence," Nowak was walking home from a night out with his friends. He passed by Vickrum Digwa, a Sikh, who stabbed Nowak five times with a knife that he was only permitted to have due to a religious exemption. 

Digwa's brother went on to call his parents, then the cops, alleging that Nowak attacked him racially and removed his turban. His mother, an Indian citizen, hid the knife—the murder weapon—in her home. She has since been charged with assisting an offender. 

When police arrived on the scene, they found Nowak on the brink of death. Instead of aiding the young Briton bleeding out in the streets, they handcuffed Nowak as he pleaded that he couldn't breathe.

Nowak stated, "I've been stabbed." The arresting officer responded, "I don't think you have, mate." Nowak passed away that night.

Henry Nowak died because the British police took the word of someone alleging racism more seriously than a white man bleeding out in the street. 

Three days after Nowak died, the police stuck to that logic, preparing a statement that aligned with Digwa's story of self-defense and describing Nowak as the aggressor. The only reason it was not publicized was because of the pleas of the Nowak family. The story paints a crystal clear picture: the social justice movement of the past decade has placed allegations of racism as a more important consideration than justice for police in Britain.

The political and media establishment placed Britain's native population as the perpetrator of an array of different problems in the nation. They neglected to confront problems that emerge within certain immigrant communities. The grooming-gang scandals demonstrated the consequences of that choice. Vickrum Digwa and the predominantly foreign grooming gangs were not driven by toxic masculinity or the online manosphere; they were impacted by a lack of assimilation and cultural and religious disconnect.

Yet another example emerged mere days after the Nowak case became public. In Belfast, a Sudanese man would attempt to behead a white male Briton. He would've finished his gruesome act had bystanders had not stepped in to save the man from death. 

From the murder of Nowak to the grooming gangs and attempted beheading, Britons are at their breaking point. Years of noise from the media and political establishment blame them, shouting, "If only toxic masculinity and racism were snuffed out, we could have the country we want." In 2026, it seems they've gotten their wish. 

In classrooms, children are taught that toxic masculinity is a major problem in the U.K. White British males are singled out as the face of manosphere-driven knife crime. In law enforcement, allegations of racism are given such consideration that they eclipse justice in the case of Henry Nowak. 

Even still, the media and political establishment have directed more energy toward combating figures they claim are "stirring up division" by correctly placing the blame for the recent tragedies at their feet. 

The headlines for each of these tragedies from British publications highlight the agenda perpetuated by the news media. The BBC described Nowak's killer not as a Sikh—who only received access to the murder weapon through a religious exemption and was not handcuffed on the scene due to allegations of racism—but as a "weapons-obsessed killer." The BBC described the attempted beheading in Belfast and the subsequent merited unrest not as products of immigrant violence culminating with the attempted beheading committed by a Sudanese man, but as "disorder" that broke out "after man charged over knife attack."

As Britons face this time of unrest, I urge them to continue to pressure their government and media to recognize the reality of the situation. I also urge them to understand why this mission is so important, in the words of Sir Roger Scruton: "A conservative is someone who has found something to love and who wants to retain it and protect it from all the sources of decay."

As I feel with America, so too do many Britons feel with their homeland. They have found their nation to love, and now they must protect it from the sources of decay.
