Senate Dems Buck Kamala for Trump—But Fundraise with “Pencil Neck” Adam Schiff

Tammy Baldwin, Sherrod Brown, and Bob Casey are all fundraising with the House’s worst reprobate while pretending not to represent California values

Reelection chances have never looked so grim for some incumbent Senate Democrats. So grim, in fact, that they’ve started tying themselves to President Donald Trump instead of their party’s flailing nominee who’s struggling for support in their states: Sitting Vice President Kamala Harris.

Democratic Sens. Tammy Baldwin (WI), Bob Casey (PA), and Sherrod Brown (OH) have all released ads touting their cooperation with the once and future President.

“Tammy Baldwin got President Trump to sign her Made in America bill,” brags the Senator from Wisconsin.

Brown reminds Ohioans he “wrote a bill that Donald Trump signed to crack down on drugs at the border.”

Like Democrats this summer, Casey abandons President Biden—who he voted with 98.5% of the time—to tell Pennsylvania voters he “bucked Biden to protect fracking and he sided with Trump to end NAFTA and put tariffs on China to stop them from cheating.”

This newfound respect for former President Trump is quite the balancing act for these lifelong politicians because while they praise the Republican nominee they solicit campaign funds alongside one of Trump’s most partisan and dishonest foes. Baldwin, Brown, and Casey all fundraise jointly with California Senate nominee Adam Schiff (D), through the aptly named Schiff(t) the Senate committee.

Schiff earned a reputation during the Trump administration for using his position on the House Intelligence Committee to peddle the disproven Russian collusion conspiracy. Schiff claimed there was “evidence in plain sight on the issue of collusion,” despite the Mueller Report finding no such thing.

When Russian collusion proved nothing more than Democrat wishcasting, now-committee chair Schiff found more lies to peddle against Trump. During the lead up to the Left’s first impeachment of President Trump, Schiff so grossly mischaracterized a phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky that even CNN had to admit, “at some points, Schiff’s words strayed quite far from what the rough transcript showed Trump saying.”

The sitting House Intelligence Committee Chair’s excuse? It was “parody.”

For his blatant dishonesty, the House censured Schiff and denied him a spot on the Intelligence Committee once Republicans reclaimed the chamber in the 2022 midterms. Ironically, Schiff argued his committee denial was “another body blow to the institution of Congress.”

Baldwin, Brown, and Casey each received more than $80,000 from their joint fundraising committee with Schiff.  Despite attempting to tie themselves to the former President, they raised this money by selling out constituents preferring Trump to help a candidate ruthless about taking him down. At least their hypocrisy is financially rewarding.
