Jeff Reynolds made an appearance on the Newsmakers at Noon Radio Hour in Salem, Oregon with hosts Denise Quinn and Hunter Newton on November 6. It was a jam-packed hour dissecting the biggest headlines of the week.
Jeff broke down the election results from Virginia, New Jersey, and New York City. The crew paid special attention to Virginia's new Attorney General-elect, Jay Jones, who will enter office under a cloud of controversy and multiple investigations. Restoration News broke the stories on both of the current investigations that will dog Jones—as well as Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger—as they enter office.
The panel also gave some special attention to New York's new socialist, terrorist-sympathizing mayor-elect, Zohran Mamdani.
Then the panel switched gears, debating President Trump's demand that Senate Republicans end the government shut down by employing the "nuclear option" of ending the filibuster. They weighed the pros and the cons and what it all means.
As if that weren't controversial enough, the next segment centered on the fallout across the right-leaning pundit galaxy from Tucker Carlson's long form interview of antisemite Nick Fuentes. We theorized what Fuentes is really trying to accomplish, whether the Right has a growing problem with antisemitism, and what culpability Tucker Carlson has in "platforming" someone like Fuentes.
Finally, the panel bid a not-so-fond adieu to Nancy Pelosi, who announced her retirement from Congress today.
