LaRose Says States Need to Fight Left-Wing Attempts to Alter Election Rules
PODCAST RUNDOWN
Ohio’s Secretary of State Frank LaRose says Ohio fights all left-wing election litigation aimed at altering election rules.
Settling the lawsuits is “…like paying the hostage takers ransom,” he said.
LaRose’s comments are a direct shot at Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and other GOP election chiefs who settled lawsuits in 2020 during COVID, or otherwise acquiesced to rule changes pushed by Democrats to loosen safeguards.
LaRose made the comments on a recent First Right Podcast with host Gerald Ewalt.
LaRose says that giving into one of these election litigation cases, even a minor amount, creates the incentive for more legal action. In addition, any last-minute changes made near an election opens up the possibility of fraud and confusion for election officials, he added.
