Floods of Illegal Immigrants Driving Voters to Turn Out in November

Can you guess the most important issue for American voters? Nope, it’s not DEI, supporting terrorist groups like Hamas, or convincing women to kill their children in the womb. It’s the one issue the Left keeps hoping will disappear: Immigration, and the flood of illegal immigrants entering the country.

According to Gallup polling, Americans have identified immigration as the number one problem facing the country for three straight months. And it’s no wonder they feel this way. Some estimates have 2.4 million migrants entering the United States illegally since Joe Biden entered the White House. Some estimates have that number far higher. Last December alone, the U.S. Border Patrol reported a record setting 300,000-plus migrant encounters – that’s 10,000 a day.

The Biden administration keeps saying it’s going to close the borders and stop the flow, but that’s just talk. Early in his term, Biden tapped Vice President Kamala Harris as the “border czar” to lead the federal government’s efforts on immigration. That’s a big PR move – any CEO knows the best way to show stakeholders you’re taking care of the problem is to bring out the big guns.

It immediately turned out to be a sham. Harris’s big strategy consisted of trying to “improve economic, security and political conditions” in a handful of Central American countries— not actually securing the border. She’s been a “no show,” with anonymous White House aides describing her efforts as “at best ineffective, and at worst sporadically engaged.” She appears much more interested in her cringey image rehab campaign these days where Drew Barrymore called her “Mamala”. As in, the “America’s mom” that nobody wants—latest polls have her at a net -16 favorability rating.

American Voters Prefer the Rule of Law

Come to think of it, maybe it’s not such a bad thing Harris has gone AWOL on the immigration issue? Many of her ideas simply won’t work, like solving the immigration by just giving away citizenship to whoever shows up.

Unfortunately, that’s a problem for average Americans. They want to know the president will follow the rule of law. Our president shouldn’t let criminals into the country. But the White House ignores you, because the only audiences about which it cares are its far-left voter base.

That’s why it’s letting illegal immigrants get Social Security numbers, and why it’s done things like have a Vice Presidential candidate who is bad on the issues, but great for securing the black female voting bloc. And why it took Biden nearly two weeks to condemn the Hamas-supporting mobs rioting and spewing antisemitism at Columbia University and other college campuses, out of fear of losing Arab and Muslim votes in critical states like Michigan.

But as the Gallup polling showed, more Americans are paying attention than Biden thinks. Even Hispanic voters see through the pandering and have moved their support away from Biden and the Democrats because of the issue. In fact, a recent poll found a majority of Hispanic voters in Texas want a wall built and the border closed.

You can bet we’ll hear more from top Democrats about securing our borders as we get closer to the election, even as they do nothing of the sort. That’s because they’re not stupid – and they hope the American people are.
