Don’t Be Fooled by Kamala’s Debate Lies: She Would Pry Our Firearms from Our Cold Dead Hands If She Could
Kamla Harris has introduced, supported, and popularized the most extreme gun control policies ever to touch American soil. But according to her empty words during the debate she can be trusted because she is a gun owner.
During the presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, hosted by ABC News on September 10, Harris blatantly lied to Americans about her position on firearms.
“We’re not taking anybody’s guns away, so stop with the continuous lying about this stuff,” she declared, accompanied by her characteristic smirk and cackly laugh.
Harris asserted that both she and her vice-presidential running mate, Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), own guns and have no desire to confiscate firearms from law-abiding citizens. However, a brief and surface level look at her record on gun policy shows her words during the debate hold no weight.
If elected, Kamala Harris will be the most anti-Second Amendment president in the history of the United States.
Kamala Harris LIED to the American people in the debate.

Since her early days as the leftist district attorney of San Francisco, Harris has made one thing clear—firearms have no place in her version of American society.
Her stance directly contradicts the intentions of America’s Founding Fathers, who enshrined the Second Amendment as a safeguard against tyranny. The right to bear arms not only empowers citizens to defend themselves but also serves as a check on governmental overreach.
In many respects, the Second Amendment is the sole amendment of the Constitution that protects and enshrines our freedom while also defining America as a citadel of liberty on the global stage.
For Harris, however, this amendment is more of an obstacle than a safeguard, hindering the growth of governmental authority. The inverse is true: it is the very right that fortifies all others, securing freedom in its most fundamental form.
For years, the left has sought to vilify the Second Amendment and move America towards socialist societies like Australia that block citizen gun ownership. But last time I checked we threw off the shackles of Great Britain with our firearms—something Australia failed to do.
Kamala Harris will never outright say that she wants to remove our weapons so that the federal government under her control can exercise authority without repercussion, but she continually hints at the quiet part out loud.
Her advocacy for gun buyback programs, support for "red flag" laws (which allow for the confiscation of firearms without due process), calls for universal background checks (which could enable the government to track the location of every firearm and its owner), and her endorsement of bans on so-called “assault weapons” (a term she has yet to clearly define, but which seems to include an ever-widening array of firearms) all point in one direction.
The message is clear. If Kamala Harris carries out her plan, Americans will inevitably lose their right to fight for freedom.

Now That’s One Damning Record
Despite her attempt to sway voters by lying about her true Second Amendment beliefs, Harris has asserted that Americans do not have the right to carry firearms. To no one’s surprise, she has likened her goals to Australia… where guns go to die.
And she thinks she can get it done.
While attorney general of California, Harris led a massive gun confiscation effort. California is the leftist model for the nation—so don’t be surprised when Harris takes those ideas to the main stage.
After all, history has taught us about authoritarian regimes—they always confiscate private firearms.
In April, Harris also called for Universal Background checks which are criticized by Second Amendment advocates for being a backdoor method to creating a national gun database. Nothing makes a quick, organized, and premeditated gun confiscation easier than knowing where to find every firearm in the country.
“Deceptively marketed to the public as a way to keep guns from dangerous people,” said the NRA Institute for Legal Action, “‘universal’ background check legislation is instead a broadside against lawful firearm ownership in America, setting cruel traps for common and innocent firearm-related conduct and banning an entire class of law-abiding adults from certain gun purchases,”
Harris’s most menacing policy allows the government to take away firearms without reason for an unspecified or indefinite amount of time.
Known as red flag laws, or Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs), this policy enables civil courts to issue warrants for the seizure of all firearms and ammunition owned or possessed by a respondent—without cause.
Judges in 21 states and the District of Columbia can revoke your right to acquire and bear arms if someone files a red flag petition against you and convinces the government that you pose a danger—and Harris wants them everywhere.
“The problem with [red flag laws] is that you’re trying to predict the future, and you just can’t do that. We don’t live in a society where we punish people based on actions they may take at some unknown point in time, if ever,” Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) executive director Adam Kraut told Restoration News.
Harris endorsed red flag laws before they were ever a real policy position. In some ways, she has been the leading proponent for creating federal regulations that impose red flag laws in all states.

Pro-Second Amendment?
I’m not sure what Harris is, but she is definitely not pro-second amendment. Her past and current gun policy preferences show that she definitely wants to confiscate firearms, and she will be okay with legally justifying any of her actions.
There are currently 10 million gun owners that are not registered to vote in America—a voter bloc large enough to lend former President Donald Trump a landslide victory.
If gun owners want to remain gun owners, they should vote in November.
