Despite Spending Millions, Gun Control Groups Lost Big in 2024
Gun control groups across America, which continually advocate for unconstitutional laws, poured millions into the 2024 election hoping to take away Second Amendment rights. They failed.
Democrats counted on a stunning $27 million from the anti-gun lobby to help gun-grabbers win in 2024. What they got was a total repudiation of gun control policies in the polls.
Despite the large cash infusion, Kamala Harris—the most pro-gun confiscation nominee in American history—suffered a staggering loss to President-elect Donald Trump, evidence that law-abiding Americans’ support of constitutional rights is stronger than ever. America's decisive rejection of the anti-gun lobby may mark the end of the Left’s decades-long crusade against the Second Amendment, and grant Republicans a historic opportunity to permanently safeguard gun rights.
Big Spenders
The Gun Safety Victory Fund Super PAC, which is an organization of anti-gun group Everytown for Gun Safety, pushed a massive $9.4 million to support Kamala Harris—with $5.5 million in contributions going to individual candidates, Democratic party organizations, and “progressive” PACs.
Billionaire and gun control proponent Micheal Bloomberg started Everytown in 2014 to combat the National Rifle Association (NRA).
Giffords PAC, which also receives funding from Bloomberg as well as and Salesforce.com CEO Marc Benioff, poured $7.2 million into the 2024 election, with $498,000 opposing Republican Dave McCormick’s bid to unseat Pennsylvania Sen. Bob Casey (D).
McCormick defeated Casey 48.8 percent to 48.6 percent, flipping the seat red.
Brady, a gun control group that received dark money funding from the leftist Tides Foundation, spent $34,000 in contributions to candidates, campaigns, and other outside groups, and $123,000 in independent expenditures during the 2024 election.

Strong Standing
The presidency, Senate, House, and Supreme Court are now positioned to continue blocking numerous gun control measures while building on the landmark Supreme Court decisions in Bruen and Heller—which restored and bolstered every American’s right to carry a firearm.
Republicans have the added opportunity to scrutinize federal agencies, such as the ATF, which have been accused of overstepping their authority and infringing on the rights of U.S. citizens by creating and enforcing regulations without congressional approval.
In a world where Kamala Harris had managed to win the presidency, law-abiding Americans would have lost numerous rights protected by the Second Amendment through laws like extreme risk protection orders, so called AR-15 bans, magazine capacity restrictions, limited conceal carry locations, high taxes on firearms, and universal background checks.
Combined, these laws allow the federal government to systematically strip Americans of their Second Amendment rights while pushing for full disarmament. To no surprise, many of these laws are straight out of the leftist California handbook and were all eyed by Harris.
The anti-gun lobby did its best to push Harris over the finish line so their policies could slip into effect, but patriots made sure that finish line was far out of reach.
