CRIME ALERT: Illegal Alien Murderer Registered to Vote in Florida

Gorman L. Butler—an illegal alien—is charged with murder and trafficking fentanyl. He’s also a registered Democrat in West Palm Beach.

Exclusive investigative research by Restoration News and Voter Reference Foundation uncovered what Democrats have been trying to hide—illegal aliens are committing atrocities and registering to vote.

Gorman L. Butler, an illegal alien reportedly from the Bahamas, was arrested multiple times in multiple counties over the course of eight years in Florida. Court records indicate he  currently awaits trial in Broward County for his most recent offenses—murder and trafficking fentanyl. Butler is also a registered Democrat voter in Florida.

Restoration News has extensively reported on criminal illegal aliens. We recently launched IllegalAlienCrimes.com which exposes thousands of illegal alien criminals across the nation. Thanks to help from our sister organization, Voter Reference Foundation, we were able to uncover Butler’s voter registration.

Republicans have consistently sounded the alarm about illegal aliens registering to vote but Democrats refuse to acknowledge it or stand against it. We now have proof that it’s happening.

After attempting to flee on foot, officers arrested Butler. He was later cleared of the shooting at the nightclub but charged with aggravated fleeing with injury or damage, aggravated assault on an officer, reckless driving, and resisting an officer.

10-4-2023—Broward County court records indicate that Butler would be released on bond when his immigration hold was released and he would be put on electronic monitoring and required to call in twice a week. As they approached, Butler fled and attempted to jump a fence. A detective grabbed him, and Butler attempted to wrestle the detective to get away. Another detective assisted and Butler was arrested for the outstanding warrant and other charges. Butler acknowledged that he fled due to his knowledge of his immigration status violation.

05-14-2024—An ICE detainer was issued providing confirmation that Butler is an illegal alien. The detainer reads: “statements made by the alien to an immigration officer and/or other reliable evidence that affirmatively indicate that the alien either lacks immigration status or notwithstanding such status is removable under U.S. immigration law.”

Illegal Alien, Registered Voter

Gorman L Butler, a person with the same birthdate and same city as the illegal alien criminal in this article, registered to vote in Florida as a Democrat on Dec. 10, 2021 in congressional district 20 (currently held by Democrat Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick). Butler’s voter registration was archived on 3/5/24 and is now in inactive status.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement recently told Restoration News Butler has been deported, and did not know if he would still be prosecuted.

If this can happen in Florida, it can happen anywhere. Election integrity must be guarded at all levels and every state and locality must strengthen and secure their voter data and registration processes.
