Authorities Have Seized 818 MILLION Lethal Doses of Fentanyl in Just 3 Months—But It Isn’t Enough

Opening the border meant allowing in dangerous Mexican cartels and filling our streets with lethal pills

The price for Kamala Harris’ open borders is being paid by everyday families in communities across the country, and she’s doing nothing to halt the carnage.

Restoration News calculates that U.S. law enforcement confiscated 3,600 pounds of fentanyl just between May and July 2024, equivalent to 818 million lethal doses if ingested. That’s more than twice the entire population of the United States and 41 percent more than the entire population of North America.

Most of this fentanyl isn’t directly ingested; instead, it’s mixed in with other narcotics like heroin or pressed into pills and sold as black market painkillers to unwitting customers, who are likely to accidentally ingest enough to kill them.

Fentanyl was a problem before Joe Biden and Kamala Harris took office in Jan 2021. While President Obama largely ignored the growing epidemic, President Trump took important action to mitigate the flow of the drug from China, where most of the precursors used in manufacturing it are produced.

But under “border czar” Harris, radical Democrats made opening the southern border one of their first priorities upon taking control. Her job, recall, was to stop illegal immigration across the border. Instead, it ballooned to at least 12 million people who’ve crossed on her watch—and counting.

Now the fentanyl epidemic has followed and quickly spread everywhere.

No Safe Place

In South Carolina, cops recently discovered 1,000 pressed pills and a trafficker’s gun in a home “within walking distance of an Anderson County elementary school.” In Lynchburg, Virginia, police earlier this year busted a 47-person drug trafficking ring that brought in 48,000 fentanyl pills, enough to kill 200,000 Americans. In Connecticut, a special task force seized $1 million in drugs in July, including 6,000 fentanyl pills.

Calls to poison centers for fentanyl ingestion by kids are up 54 times since 2016. An 11-year-old girl nearly died in Nashua, New Hampshire, after she got into her father’s pill stash.

Border agents discovered 17 pounds of fentanyl, cocaine, and heroin smuggled in the muffler of a trafficker’s car at the U.S.-Mexico border. In Colorado, cops found 18 pounds of fentanyl-laced cocaine and 500 rounds of 9mm ammunition during a routine traffic stop.

In Raleigh, North Carolina, a pregnant mother was found dead from fentanyl poisoning just last week. And in Utah, a 34-year-old mother of three stands accused of fatally poisoning her husband with fentanyl.

All of this is made possible by the Chinese Communist Party, which has perfected its stealth war on America by aiding cartels mass-manufacture lethal drugs that spill across the southern border. Even some House Democrats are demanding Harris crack down, but she refuses.

This is the price Americans are paying for letting radical Democrats run our country. Can we stand another four years of this mess?
